Pudendal Nerve decompression in Nantes
I have had symptoms of pudendal nauralgia for nearly 3 years with a positive but shortlived response to nerve blocks that I had in the last 6 months (performed in London). I am hoping to travel to Nantes for surgery and had a few questions for those that have already been there. Do the doctors there

Heart block
Does anyone else have a child with heart block? Connie is 4 and was diagnosed at 21 weeks into pregnancy but an ECG when she was born was clear. She has recently been diagnosed again with first degree and second degree types 1 and 2 AV node heart block. She seems to be sleeping more and more each week

I have come up with a TSH reading of 10.48. Is it a case of Hypothyroidism, although I have none of the symptoms?
Just to emphasise a bit more about myself, the tests were done as a part of the routine check up by my cardiologist. I have had a RBBB for the last 8-10 years and I never had any other troubles ever. Although the last ECG pointed out normal sinus rhythm and left axis deviation with RBBB. Is that a bit

Enough is enough!!
I have just spent the best part of the weekend in bed, everything hurts especially my sides and ribs, they feel like they are on fire with the odd firework going off. I can't get any respite. Went to see the GP again last week because I felt so ill. Pain , digestion problems lack of sleep because I can't

I'm not looking for sympathy, just need to let off steam & feel miserable. (You can stop reading now if you wish). Had injections & two partial nerve blocks at pain clinic today. Feel like I have been slapped round side of head with a wet fish and had a pencil poked in eye. Had to take annual leave

Greater Occipital Nerve Injection - after effects?
My Neurologist has just recommended I have this jab. He did so last time I saw him in 2004 but I chickened out at the time! Since then I've had a nerve block prior to a GA for an op on my left shoulder and also two steroid injections in my right shoulder which "cured" that stiff shoulder problem. I

My story (edited version) Medication and Pain Injections
I started having pain problems after an operation to the main vein in my right leg, I was warned that there was a risk of possible nerve damage as they would have to cut so far into my leg. I stated having pain straight after and was put on severadol twice a day 20mg to help. I had to go back in a few
