Bisoprolol for tachycardia
Hiya guys I've basically has this spontaneous diurnal tachycardia which no one is able to put a cause to at the moment. I've been tried on Bisoprolol 2.5mg for this. And to some effect it is working. Before I was ranging from 90-180 now I'm anywhere between 58-130. However I have noticed my blood pressure

The Name of a Doctor Who Gives Video Talks on Arrhythmia
Hello I have seen mention of a doctor who has given several 'talks' on various arrhythmias and heart condition in general. I can't find mention of his name. I have been having an exacerbation of my Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia (far more frequent, in fact almost ongoing with a top rate of 190 bpm)

Atrial Tachycardia
Hi everyone I am new here so please excuse me if I have done this wrong. My wife recently got diagnosed with atrial tachycardia which is more common in the young and the old. Prior to diagnoses we had ambulances out and she was plugged up to the monitors and every time the paramedics said atrial fibrillation

Back in sinus rhythm but still got AF symptoms
Hi everyone - my first post ... I've had three cardioversions and was doing well until recently when I got palpitations and my legs gave way. The funny thing is that I'm back in sinus rhythm but now feel tired, breathless and on and off light-headed like I was before my cardioversions. I'm on flecanide

9 months Post Ablation Checkup
Just thought I'd give a little update after a fruitful appointment and review today, and hopefully make those thinking or being indicated suitable for Ablation feel there is some hope with this horrible condition we all endure with new treatments coming available. Today I had my 9 months checkup with

I need support
I seriously need help tonight, I’ve had palpitations for nearly an hour now and I can’t sleep. I got diagnosed last week with tachycardia. Doctors aren’t helping just said that I’ll be making myself worse because I have anxiety. I seriously feel like I’m gonna lose it. Feel like I am going to die 😭

Heart Rate question
Any thoughts about a resting heart rate that stays in 80's - 90's post ablation (15 months)? Taking metoprolol, also BP meds and Eliquis. With exercise hitting 110...

Well, this is weird!
Took my evening tablets, & you know that odd feeling when you feel one has got stuck at the back of your throat? Just drank some extra water & carried on preparing dinner, but got a horrible stinging sensation in the back of my nose/pharynx tried gargling & even sniffing some water 😖🤧. Half an hour

Hi all, newbie here. First off, I'm so incredibly grateful to have stumbled across this forum last night. My journey these past three months has been extremely hard, lonely and frustrating. Here's my story: I'm a 46 y.o. female who developed a new headache in late October. It started with a very sharp

Cynicism
Hi guys... again. It's now been a week since a "proper" Afib episode, I've had a few missed beats and one episode of 5 seconds. I was thinking that is a step in the right direction, but the the cynical side of me is saying it's to do with the high dose 12.5mg of Bisoprolol I'm on that is responsible

Chest discomfort with heart failure
Hi, I had heart block and needed a Pm fitted however all tests done on heart were fine. 15 months later PM only in minimal use however I have started to get slight pains in my chest and my daytime resting bpm is in the high 80s to 90s. I am concerned my heart muscle may be struggling hence the high

Flecainide advice
Happy almost New year. Guess my heart wanted to get one more kick in, before we say goodby to 2019. My still recurring AFib episodes have been 3-6 weeks apart, albeit milder and shorter, since my ablation in June 2018. Tonight’s episode is a bit more intractable, as I usually take 1/2 a 25mg metoprolol

What do you think?
Opinions please, I know we arent docs, just wondering if I should shut up and b a good patient or push for my wishes: Ive had PAF close to 5 yr( I think, lol), getting less and less frequent. My last episode was spring 2018. I was taking Flecainide as a pip, and metoprolol twice daily. 4 mo ago I asked
