PGT-A or not? Is ICSI worth it?
Hi, I'm feeling really confused. I have just read through the HFEA website and both 5-day PGT-A and IMSI are rated red ie there is no evidence to show that these add-ons are safe or effective. Both of these are what my clinic has recommended for my next round. I've just turned 40. I've had 3 rounds

Familiar anxiety - on cusp of 3rd cycle
Hi guys, feeling that normal sense of nerves as I get closer to starting my third cycle. Pros & cons to testing early
Hi All, I was wondering about the pros and cons to testing early during the two week wait. I've had two ICSI cycles both with fresh transfers. The first transfer was 1 embryo in August 2020 and the second transfer was 2 embryos in November 2020 but both failed and I never tested early on either like

Lubion from last cycle, can I use it for FET?
Hi All, I have some leftover Lubion (14 vials) from my first ICSI cycle in July/August 2020, and my first ever FET (natural) is coming up in a few weeks. This is my last embryo from the 2 ICSI cycles as the others were failed fresh cycles. Do you think I can use these vials? The box says it has to

Hello! We did ICSI 4 days ago and on day first lab reported 2 out of 3 mature eggs fertilized but now yesterday on day 3 they called me and said that you have 3 embryos developing normal! They said 1 of the embryos did not seem to fertilized normal on day 1 but then after they realized its developing

When will we ever be able to get abroad for IVF round 3? Anyone else feeling stuck
Just feeling a bit overwhelmed by our IVF being on hold due to covid and wondering how others in a similar situation are coping. Weāve been TTC for 5 and a half years, done 2 rounds of ICSI, the last resulting in a miscarriage in March this year. Nothing frozen from either round to transfer. I work in

Had a bit of a break
Hi everyone, Had a bit of a break after my first two unsuccessful rounds, needed some space and time away from constantly thinking about this...we took some time to consult and breathe and I've been taking DHEA which my doc said I need to take for 2-3 months before another cycle so I'm doing that...

āPackageā cost of ivf - unfair for people who are returning patients!
Hello everyone, Iām considering my 7th š¬ round of ivf/icsi to try and have a sibling for my son. Iām not 100% sure whether this will happen as my husband isnāt keen. I had my most recent two cycles with the same clinic who do an ivf package cost or an ICSI package cost which includes all bloods

Bilateral varicocele surgery - Does it improve IVF ICSI results?
Hi, we have had 2 failed cycles of IVF + ICSI and seems like the quality of our embryos need to be improved. They have given both of us supplements etx but since my husbands sperm parameters are not optimal and he has a varicocele (more prominent on left side), they have advised he undergoes bilateral

So so sad
Our first round of ICSI failed today, after 3 years of trying naturally. I am so so sad, even knowing the odds were less than 50% I just thought it would work for us and we would finally have our Christmas baby. I know so many of you must have had multiple failures and hope you don't think I'm overreacting

Endo Scratch tomorrow, whatās it like?
Hi all, I had my follow up consultation yesterday after a failed double transfer a few weeks ago. They think itās chromosome issues as Iām 42 with 4 natural miscarriages. But have had two failed fresh transfers (3 embryos) over 2 icsi cycles now so they suggested a endometrial scratch before the next

Motility and Vitamins
Hi All, Anyone have any advice for vitamins for my hubby. Motility has come back at 21% progressive 9% non progressive 70% immotile The clinic are suggesting ivf and not icsi as everything else looks ok with 5% morphology. What vitamins can I put him on to help the motility? Thanks in advance

Embryo numbers drop day 1 to day 3.
Hi everyone, just had the call to say that from my 12 eggs collected to 6 fertilising normally, we are down to 2 embryos doing what they should be doing. One is 9 cells, other is 7. We still have one embryo which is 4 cells but unlikely the catch up. The other 3 embryos just divided once so are 2 cells

Artificial Oocyte Activation.
Hello Again all. After my consultation yesterday regarding my Complete Failure to Fertilise, my embryologist has suggested we try Artifical Oocyte Activation. Has anyone used this method before? As far as my research goes its basically a 'Calcium Bath' that my egg is dipped in once injected using ICSI

Varicocele
Hi everyone, We've been ttc over 3 years (MFI) and had a failed icsi cycle (one fresh fail one frozen) with nothing left in the freezer. We found out my OH had a grade 2 varicocele in his left testicle. The NHS wouldn't operate on it for fertility reasons so we've gone to a private urologist male infertility

Crisis Point - 2nd ectopic pregnancy after ICS1
Hello, Iām new to this forum but Iām no stranger to the awful journey of infertility. My husband and I have been through 4 rounds of IVF and we are lucky to have these on NHS. Iāve been pregnant twice from ICSI but both times the blastocyst did not implant in my womb. Iāve lost my right tube and lately
