Embryo numbers drop day 1 to day 3.

Hi everyone, just had the call to say that from my 12 eggs collected to 6 fertilising normally, we are down to 2 embryos doing what they should be doing. One is 9 cells, other is 7. We still have one embryo which is 4 cells but unlikely the catch up. The other 3 embryos just divided once so are 2 cells. This is my second cycle. My first cycle was short protocol with gonal f which had very similar results. One day 5 embryo grade C and a frozen grade A day 6. Both BFN. This time we did long protocol with icsi still on gonal f and it seems to be taking a similar route. My AMH is 12.6, I'm 36 with a 5 year old son conceived naturally, so I am secondary infertility, unexplained.

Has anyone had any similar results with their day 3 embryos?

Should I push for a change in protocol if we decide to do another cycle? Maybe a more mild ivf might be better?

This is such a tough process, I have so much respect and admiration for you all.

Hi there. I'm an IVF newbie on my first cycle but just wanted to say that from the sound of it you still have 2/3 embryos? I know it's a rollercoaster ride of emotions and nerves but hopefully you're still in with a fighting chance.

You always can push! I push on my dr and he changed his plans.. are you using coq10? I was on testogel as well .. I find out if his plans worked on Tuesday... I realized as paitient we cannot trust specialist 100% you should google and see what they respond.I hope ur current round works for u though 🙏🙏
