Hello ladies... here i am with 5 failed ICSI cycles.. depressed and stressed. However made up my mind for my next cycle since I still have frozen embryos. But this time on day 14 of my cycle was a strange observation. Suddenly my endometrial thickness has fallen from 8mm on day 9 to 4mm on day 14.. this

Going private after NHS ivf treatment - advice needed
Hello everyone. I’ve just had a failed frozen cycle and before that I had a failed ICSI cycle. Unfortunately we have now used up our NHS funding and to make it worse our clinic’s covid rules means we have to go to the bottom of the waiting list for another cycle now, rather than being allowed to have

1 or 2 embryos transferred?
Hi everyone Hoping for some advice here... It’s my first ICSI cycle and I have 2 frozen blastocysts - 1 is 5BB and the other 4BB. My doctor has asked if I want 1 or both transferred: I am 29, it’s my first round of IVF and will be my first transfer as I didn’t have a fresh transfer after egg collection

COMPLETE failure to fertilise with ICSI
Hello . Has anybody had any experience with a complete failure to fertilise with ICSI? We had IVF last cycle which produced 3 fertilised eggs. Sadly none of those made it to blastocyst, although we did have 1 transferred (BFN) as it wasn't far behind, so we opted to try with ICSI this time. After retrieving

Ivf
Hey I had my first IVF but it wasn’t successful as my ovaries produce to many eggs and it’s overstimulated with the medication I had and eggs didn’t fertilize . I am 31. Now doctor advice is do go for ICSI. Also how many treatments should be funded by NHS.

2ww, 7dp3dt, feels like AF, feels same as last time, think it is game over :(
I am 39 years old and have just gone through my second round of IVF, this time with ICSI. Only got six mature enough eggs, only two fertilised. Per embryologist 'top quality' embryos, both were transferred back in at 3 day stage a week ago. I have had cramps throughout but now it just feels exactly

I’m going to give it one more try 😬
Hello lovely people, After much deliberation I’m going to try one more round of IVF. I’m 42 next week & my husband has low motility. We had a successful icsi baby in 2016 but have had three failed frozen ET’s since. I’ve tried to get on with my life but something keeps pulling me back to have one

Before and post transfer tips please
Hi ladies I am currently on my first ICSI cycle. I couldn’t have a fresh transfer after my egg collection as my lining was too thin. We have 2 frozen embryos and I think I will have my FET some time next week. I was hoping for any advice of anything that has worked for anyone in the lead up to transfer

Send positive vibes
So im currently in mexico for a fresh donor eggs transfer. The donor we chose was 24. No male issue jut egg quality issues on my part. They retrieved 18 mature eggs and 11 fertilized via icsi. Yesterday was Day 3 and I received the report. Out of 11 embryos, only 3 are left. I am feeling defeated. The

It's finally my turn to have a BFP! 3rd transfert lucky 🥳
Morning ladies 🌅 My Friday 13 difficult transfer turned lucky on Wed, day 5! I'm so happy and anxious at the same time (IVF is such an emotional rollercoaster, isn't it?) I caved in and tested as I had 0 symptoms -except exhaustion -and the only instances when I had a positive test was when I had

Failed ICSI - First Cycle
I’ve just found out that my first cycle of IVF ICSI has failed ... I’m so heartbroken. I think I knew in my heart that it hadn’t worked but to begin with I felt positive because everyone around me was telling me that we had a high chance of success as I’m young, I’ve no known fertility issues (our issue

Cavitating morula transfer day 5- success stories?
I’m so upset. I went abroad to have an egg donor cycle (donor is 27 years old with a 3 year old daughter) and it went horribly wrong. 13 eggs retrieved, 10 mature fertilised with ICSI, and I ended up with a cavitating morula on day 5 to transfer. All others have arrested. A cavitating morula is about

Waiting for transfer - any stories of 2 day transfers?
Hi all Just wondered if anyone had any experience of 2 day embryo transfers compared to 3 or 5 day. To be honest I hadn’t actually thought about 2 days being an option. We had 5 eggs collected yesterday and had the dreaded call this morning which we were incredibly nervous about to say that 3 had been

Follow up consultation - really bad!
So just had our follow up consultation and we were basically told that we should not do any more IVF/ICSI with our own eggs and sperm as there would be little chance of it working. Basically during the last cycle they could see my eggs were really poor quality and fragmented and also the sperm didn't

ICSI success stories - 8dpt?
Hi all, I’m new to this forum and looking for some positive vibes and support! I’m 8dpt, I had a 5AA grade hatching blastocysts transferred last Wednesday and 5 good quality embryos frozen so felt very grateful. I’ve just turned 30 and turned to IVF ICSI due to male factor sub-fertility. This is our

First ivf round with promising start turning to zero blasts to freeze. Advice or shared stories for similar experiences please ☺️
Hello! First time IVF after 3 yrs TTC with 3 mc (2 natural and 1 IUI) 39yrs old. Just completed 1st cycle - pleased with 8 of 9 eggs fertilised via ICSI. However, totally blind sided with Day 3 updates showing either poor grade (3) or reduced cells. None made to Day 5 freeze. One early blast but apparently

NHS vs Private
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help? My partner and I have been waiting over 12 months since being referred for IVF due to being unable to obtain motile sperm to freeze. It’s getting to the point where I feel this is never going to happen. He is a lot older than I am and time really is of the essence
