Top Quality Blastocyst didn’t implant
Hey guys. We had our 4th fresh ICSI cycle and managed to get the best result so far. We were really happy and really thought it would work. We had 1 beautiful top quality blastocyst transferred but it didn’t implant and we got out BFN yet again. I’m drained from all the hope and so sad it will

Husbands semen analysis
Hello all, Hubby was told in 2019 he had healthy sperm and this week was hold he has poor motility and abnormal morphology. We have now been encouraged to do ICSI instead of the standard IVF. He has been hospitalised twice due to his severe asthma and has had quite a few courses of steroids. Can that

Looking for a little bit of hope
Hello everyone. I’m just looking for a little bit of hope. My first round of IVF failed, I didn’t even make it to two weeks - I miscarried at 5 days post transfer despite being maxed out on hormones. We had our remaining embryos tested and they had chromosomal abnormalities and had to be discarded. So

9dp5dt no symptoms expect usual monthly headache
Hi everyone. So we finally started our 4th IVF ICSI cycle in January and was so so grateful to get a blastocyst ♥️ After 3 rounds and only 1 blastocyst I really didn’t think we would get one but we did. I’m 9dp5dt and am going mad. 2 days ago I was having pulling sensations and convinced myself

What are your thoughts?
Hi all, I have a rather strange question. Has anyone tried or heard anything about home insemination. My partner struggles to ejaculate but can produce the material. I have asked the clinic to do iui but they said that the best way forward is ICSI. With nothing wrong with me, I feel we have not even

Sperm DNA has contributed to our struggle - this test may be relevant for you ?!
Hello my fellow fertility fighters! I wanted to update from a previous post where we had a failed first IVF with ICSI round in November. 8 eggs all fertilised but left with nothing to freeze. We were obviously pretty shocked. Getting the sperm DNA fragmentation test was then recommended by the clinic

Micro TESA SSR- don’t know what to do
Had a private consultation with regards to the Micro TESA SSR. We had to pay £200 for the consultation (privately) or would have taken 9 months for the appointment in the NHS. We were supposed to start ICSI treatment last February but cause they couldn’t retrieve the sperm, we tried to freeze it but

Third Transfer, Third Chemical Pregnancy. Any advice on next steps?
My third transfer (and first FET) has, unfortunately, turned out to be yet another chemical miscarriage. Here is a quick overview of my journey so far: IVF1: Fresh transfer, 5 day blastocyst - Chemical pregnancy at 4 weeks (on two pessaries a day). IVF2: Fresh transfer, 5 day blastocyst - Chemical pregnancy

How many attempts will it take? Am I stuck in the IVF rabbit hole?
I’ve just turned 40. Blocked Fallopian tubes. Hubby has 31%DNA fragmentation. Always have loads of eggs collected (16-26), only ever had 1 make it to blastocyst. 4 BFNs and 1 mmc. ICSI on last 2 rounds; IVF for first 3. Hubby is starting to say that we’re getting the message that it’s not working and

WTF consultation tomorrow after 3 failed transfers, any suggestions on what to ask or suggest for next steps?
Hi All I have my follow up consultation tomorrow after another failed transfer. This time it was a natural FET (my first ever frozen) with endo scratch and glue. Grade was a 5BB. I previously had two fresh transfers after two back to back ICSI egg collection cycles. Grade was a 5BC on one of them

Next steps post BFN
So I unfortunately had a BFN on Wednesday, stupidly felt quite confident this cycle too! I have previously had an early miscarriage after a FET last Jan and have a 3 year old from ICSI. We are keen to start again as soon as we can but this is our last wee frozen embryo and I’m terrified of it not working

Hi Everyone, We’re about to go for our second round of ICSI and obviously because of Covid I’m anxious about how that will impact the process! Does anyone have any experiences to share?

Hi ladies, Looking for some advice please lovely ladies 🥰 Bit of background info: I recently turned 44. We have a toddler, through ivf, which I luckily conceived at 41. All my stats are fine with no underlying issues - just age. I had one fresh cycle in autumn which failed. 16 eggs collected with icsi

When is the best time to have progesterone level checked for a transfer?
Hi All, I’ve just had my surge for a natural FET and so I go for my surge scan today to check I have a dominant follicle and the lining is OK. When should I have my progesterone tested to check it’s ok for the transfer? I was wondering if I should have it taken today so I can see what my progesterone
