Hi everyone! I'm starting my second round this week, I've just finished the contraceptive pill and have my baseline scan on Thursday.
This time I'm doing a short protocol icsi and it's nerve-wracking to be setting myself up for it all again!
I'm in this weird limbo land of trying not to get my hopes up, whilst at the same time, being hopeful. I just feel like after 5 years of disappointment and no positive tests ever, I keep thinking this is never going to work.
Would love to hear some 2nd round success stories if they are out there to keep my spirits up x

We had never once seen a positive test either in over 5 years and were in complete disbelief it would ever truly happen, especially after cycle 1 of IVF was a total disaster. Cycle 2 with ICSI, we saw that first ever + sign on a test and I'm due within the next week 🥰
Yes! I had no embryos make it to day 5 on my first cycle - crushing - but this time, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have 6 more healthy embryos in the freezer. Best of luck ❤
Omg what a turnaround! I've all fingers and toes crossed that the same happens to me! Wishing you all the best for the next few weeks! Youve got this! X
Hi! Everything can change. In april had our first round and from 6 eggs none made it to day 5. My 2nd round had 15 eggs retrieved and 2 made it to day 5 and got frozen. Fingers crossed sweetie!
Started my second cycle today and had my baseline. Unfortunately I had a follicle still mature so I have to wait for my cycle to come but I will continue next week. I’m excited yet nervous!!
My first round I had 2 eggs collected and had a day 3 transfer which ended in bfn, my second round 3 months later I had 4 eggs collected and 3 made it to day 5 which I'm currently 33 weeks and the other 2 are frozen, good luck x
