RLS and Magnesium
Has anyone experienced this? I started taking Magnesium for my RLS but each time I take it I get terrible cramps in my legs and toes several times a night. Yet Magnesium is used to get rid of cramp. I am not subject to cramp normally. Perhaps it’s the same mechanism as Homeopathic remedies whereby a

Replies to past posts on magnesium are scant so maybe it's a difficult one for CKD? Does anyone have it tested regularly? Any relevant advice/experience re below? For my mum, Id be interested to know if/how people manage (besides just leaving it to doctor). Like other things with CKD, I believe theres

Grumpy with cardiology 🫀😡
Just a bit of a rant about NHS & I feel I can having worked for NHS for 30 years! Cardio consultation a couple of weeks ago. I had to tell him that the EP had written to my GP that I couldn’t have an ablation. Recommending Dronederone- he knew nothing about it 😡 couldn’t even see it in my record. I

Help with blood test results
Hi, I have just received these blood results. Vitamin D I'm working on and ferritin, but what I would like to ask is about magnesium, corsital and TSH. Should I be worried about the high magnesium and corsital? I'm not actually taking any magnesium supplements, have tried taking some now and again

Infection?
Good day gents I’m on day 11 post circumcision, I have yellow stuff on my incision lines and/ stitches ….can this be an infection ? Second question , is it ok for me to take warm baths with Epsom salts instead of me putting warm water in a container and cleaning the wound using cotton wool ?

Is headache related to thyroid issues?
Hi all. I've experienced headaches for the past couple of weeks almost daily. I started to feel tired, to have hair falling, dry skin and I recognise these symptoms to be related to hypothyroidism, but is the constant headache related to that too? I've been feeling well previous to this, I've started

Any advice gratefully received... Could this be more than depression/anxiety?
Hi, been feeling really 'out of it' since March last year. My GP diagnosed anxiety/depression over the phone and gave me antidepressants....which I finally gave in to a few months later after FOUR migraines in one day and hardly any sleep... Over the last year, I have researched anxiety/depression/

UP and food intolerances
Hey guys, I have UP and have recently been experiencing periods of fatigue particularly in the early afternoon and evening. I’ve never had any known allergies but I’m wondering whether high histamine foods might be triggering my mast cells and this could be related to the fatigue. Has anyone else had

Can I take these at the same time??
I always take my extended-release metoprolol with a bit of food. Two hours later (stomach supposedly empty), I take my Flecainide and lisinopril. I wait another two hours without eating, and then have brunch. Is it ok to take these 5, listed below, all together ***at the same time*** with brunch?

previous question but no feedback
I'm going to repost this just in case people missed it who might know Hi all, i've realised I probably need more zinc, now i'm aware that sweeteners can be a bad thing all the time but some of the supplements have no sweeteners but they do have microcrystalline cellulose, sorbitol or magnesium stearate
