Well, I did it. I weaned off that nasty ropinerole. It took a long time reducing it .25mg at a time, then every other day. I think the slower you go, the easier it is.
I use a cannabis tincture at bedtime. It contains the Indica variety of cannabis (which contains a low amount of THC) This helps me relax and sleep. I also use the GABA supplement which helps as well...(yes, I read about"leaky brain ") It works for me.
Ive increased my magnesium and take an iron tonic (Gertol) So far I'm off all pharmaceuticals and hope I can keep it that way.
This group has been very helpful and informative and my wish for everyone who suffers from RLS is that we all can find the relief from this horrible nightmare.

Such great news! So happy for you. I've just discovered this forum and can't believe after 18 years of RLS I've not been here before. Your success is encouraging, as well as your wit along the way. It's hard to keep spirits up with RLS along for the ride.
