Magnesium Citrate 100mg (in addition to 200mg in proceive). - at night around 10pm ish after my meal.
B6 50mg - morning on empty stomache
Both have side effects as with all vitamins but my dosage is quite low. I am experiencing alot of nausea with these on an off, the days i get nausea, its starts of mild then gets more intense in the evenings. Making me quite miserable.
Has anyone experienced such side effects? Ive been taking for 7 days now. Start both same time so i cant work out which one it is.
Was really excited to take this but now i dont know what to do. Is it just initial symptoms which gets better after a few weeks?
Any advise or help would be much appreciated. Many thanks x

Is there a reason you are taking B6 on an empty stomach? Most vitamins, including B6 and magnesium, should be taken with food to improve absorption unless you have been told specifically not to. I take all of my vits with food (except the couple of amino acid ones best taken without food) and not had any problems with nausea, and I do have a sensitive GI tract. xx
You should definitely trying taking them both with a meal. If the nausea continues even when taking with food, you could trying switching to magnesium glycinate instead of magnesium citrate. It's highly absorbable and generally has fewer side effects than some other forms of magnesium xx
Oh thank you for suggesting Mg glycinate... ill try again with the current tub with food. Its great to know i have another option as i was so excited to take these additional supps. Xx
No problem. B vitamins are good for fertility and magnesium is a good choice in general...it's estimated that 75% of the population is deficient in it. So both good ones to take! xx
Thanks for the reply everyone. I read that B vits and folate are water soluble and best taken on empty stomache so i added the b6 to my morning supplements (folate, b12 and Rala). But will try b6 on full stomache with all other vits.
