Coming off Naproxen safely?
Hi After 3 doses of Radium 223, my pain and general core strength seems to be improving after a rocky start. I'm also taking low dose Dexamethasone. I'd like to come off Naproxen gently and just take Paracetamol. I'm taking 2 x500 mg a day after meals. I'd be grateful for any experience or advice

Persistent bowel infection
Dear all, A while since I have written. I was struggling for a year or two with colon pain and seemingly uncontrollable IBS-D. I had a colonic MRI scan done which found I had diverticulosis (side-pockets on the colon). I did not have all the symptoms of diverticulitis (inflammation of the pockets

Need help to fight fatigue from Radium 223
Stage 4 for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months until it stopped being effective. Currently part of trial with Radium 223. Had 4 cycles already and 2 more to go. After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and ADT. Now having bad fatigue issues; on scale

Availability of Sodium Cromoglicate
Hi, is anyone else having supply issues with
Sodium
Cromoglicate at the moment? It’s been a bit hit or miss the last couple of months, but today the pharmacy attached to our GP said they can’t get it.

Lamotrigine and Sodium Valproate.
My neurologist is now talking about adding
Sodium
Valproate to my current 400mg daily dose of Lamotrigine. Does anyone else take that combination and if so how has it been? And what other drugs are people taking along with Lamotrigine?

Advise please, long flight travel with IBS
For the first time in my life I am now able to do as I please more or less (aside from a decrepit body), So, I've decided to bite the bullet and hopefully travel to Japan, a country I have long wanted to visit but flight time scares me as I hate being cooped up for hours. I don't want to spend 17 hours

Any positive experiences with TIPSS
my dilemma is that I am requiring a fluid draw every 10-14 days and am unable to take an effective dosage of diuretics due to low serum
sodium
levels. I have a consult for TIPSS tomorrow and would like to here some feedback from those who have had the procedure.

Not wanting sleep
Does anyone not want to face going to bed because waking up means immediately facing constant bathroom trips? I dread waking up as soon as I’m vertical I need to go to the toilet and after 5 or 6 times and a couple of Imodium I can finally drive to work.

Travellers Diarrhea
Has anyone ever been abroad before and came back with diarrhea? I actually managed to get through 12 hour flights and 3 weeks in Brazil with only a couple of bad episodes .. thanks to Imodium helping me through. The day we were due to fly my stomach was so bad which was not unusual for me with anxiety

chronic diarrhoea 4 days.
I honestly feel like just stopping the prednisolone. It’s one thing after another. Nothing is staying in my stomach and I feel so weak. Any advice appreciated. Do I take Imodium? 🙏

Long post with question about tube feeding from a newbie
Due to strong pressure, she was given a simple
sodium
chloride infusion for 5 days (!) a month ago, but no more, plus due to the high rheumatism factor she got 3 new pills per day, the main pill being steroids. I have to make her swallow those every day... It's insane. Zero aftercare.

Will lower dose of Nintedanib stop the terrible side effects?
After a long wait, a bronchoscopy and endless CT scans and lung function tests, I finally started on the standard dose of 2 x 150 mg Nintedanib at the end of February. The first few weeks weren’t too bad, my gut was unhappy and I experienced the expected diarrhoea. Took Imodium as advised. But then
