Undiagnosed Heart Condition
I can’t eat any food with
sodium
because it makes my blood presssure go out of control and I can’t exercise. Anything over 100 beats per minute starts to give me heart issues.

The monster has struck!
I was given more potassium and
sodium
to try to rebalance them. I have continued to pass water frequently. No doctor has been sent for. This glass awakened a great fear of 4 years since I was diagnosed with PAF- that the condition will become permanent.

Apologies -Loperamide Liquid Oral solution Discontinued
My post should have said Loperamide Liquid Oral Solution has been discontinued. I have tried taking half of an instant melt Imodium which wasn’t very successful so I will try to get tablets (as opposed to capsules ) and break up! Not sure why the liquid has been discontinued!

Antidepressants and other meds
Also my
sodium
levels were little low so was told to use more salt on my food. I have stopped my omeprazole 40mg a day, but haven't really noticed any difference yet, apart from suffering with reflux etc., but have been on them for many years so perhaps it will take time.

low sodium rate
My
sodium
level is still low (128). Only one digit higher than 3 months ago. My GP says he’s not unduly concerned at this moment, and will re-test again in 3 months. From what I’ve googled this low
sodium
can affect the kidneys and yet my kidney count was within the range (60-200) at 80ml!

Seeking advice re: end-of-life planning with family
So far I’ve done the things many of you have written about here to preserve my remaining kidney function for as long as possible, like switching to a plant-based diet and cutting out excess
sodium
, potassium, and phosphorus.

Zometa with or without Radium 223?
Hi I have done 1 year with Zometa alongside Docetaxel and more recently Radium 223. I'm halfway through the Radium 223 course but have been advised that after a year, Zometa has reached maximum effectiveness and should be stopped. After a rocky start I'm feeling much better and much less frail.
