My answer to Mastectomy
I was self conscious immediately after my Mastectomy but as I got used to it I noticed, in the pool, no one even noticed it. The biggest hurdle was Tamoxofin and its side effects. It did put me in touch with my feminine side.

Fatigue with Tambocor
I am new to this site. I recently began taking Tambocor 50 Mg twice a day and feel fatigue, though no more episodes of atrial fibrillation. Wanted to find out how common fatigue occurs and any recommendations.

Looking for support 3 weeks post ablation
I’m 44 and had an ablation with top surgeon in hopes of getting ahead of afib. Prior to ablation I got it about once per month sometimes more. Post surgery was put on flec and metropolol and am already on cymbalta. Seems everyone missed that cymbalta is contradicted with these drugs- and raises the strength

Relapsing Polychondritis
I’m just wondering if any others with thyroid problems also suffer with relapsing polychondritis? I’m looking for advice on how others cope with the exhaustion caused by the combination of the usual thryroid symptoms and a polychondritis flare up. Thanks

Hi There I went through chemo, single mastectomy and now going through radiation. Path reports came back clear after surgery, doing radiation as a precaution. 6 mos from now I am getting reconstruction. Still have option to get other breast removed if I want, even though there is no cancer there. Any

Tamiflu = tummy phoo
Omg! I can’t figure out whether it’s the Tamiflu or the z pak or having to take both and believe me I’m grateful for both given how sick I was - BUT it’s destroying my stomach. I still have 5 days left to take - any suggestions to settle things down?

Living with MS
I was diagnosed with Ms in 2012. I was on the Medication Rebif and had to change because it was not working for me. Now I'm on Gilenya and it seems to be working for me. My neurologist put me on Ampyra to help with my walking also. It seems that the Ampyra assistance program was terminated Dec.

Feeling Worried
Had mastectomy 18/12 ( Grade 2 ER neg. Her pos. one positive node ) MRI before surgery found no problems. Wound infection (skin only ) Seroma. Infection pretty much cleared with penicillin type antibiotic which I took for ten days... really felt ill with that. No appointment with Oncologist yet. Apparently

Rasagiline, azlect
I was diagnosed about a year ago and would like to stay off Meds as long as possible. But I am taking rasagiline as my dr says it protects my dopamine. Any opinions about that? I’m also taking SAMe for ease in joints and some macuna powder in my breakfast foods. Thanks, janet

What time to take Amitriptyline?
Hi all. From the start of taking Ami, I was told to take the dose an hour before bed, it would help me sleep. I can report that currently up to 40mg, it is not doing much for the headaches and has NO sleepy effect on me, in-fact I often can't sleep. I am thinking it would be more beneficial to spread

Hi my name is Patricia and I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2. I has a mastectomy on my right in 11/20/17 and started my chemo today. It went good except that I notice I urinate way to much. To all of you I pray that we all overcome this awful disease. Thanks for input but I would like to know

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for RLS?
Hi everyone, Has anyone tried “TMS” (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)? There have been several promising studies. This one was only on 14 participants but it looks like it could be worthwhile exploring: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/26112711/ Another study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed
