Hi my name is Patricia and I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2. I has a mastectomy on my right in 11/20/17 and started my chemo today. It went good except that I notice I urinate way to much. To all of you I pray that we all overcome this awful disease. Thanks for input but I would like to know of foods not to eat. Thank

Hi Patricia. Sorry to hear that you are dealing with breast cancer. This site is for women with ovarian cancer, but if you search on Health Unlocked you will find the site specifically for breast cancer.

It's good to urinate frequently and drink lots of water you need to flush chemo out of kidneys. Also after chemo they may eventually give you a shot to boost immune system. If they do Claritan not the D , helps with joint and muscle aches. It was suggested by my doctor helps a lot. Has to be plain Claritan. Take for 5 days starting day of shot. You'll still ache but not as bad. Best wishes, for success. Liz

Hi Patricia, it's tough best to avoid sugar's, but everything turns into sugar. My doc told me to eat whatever I wanted during chemo. Chemo is designed to attack free radicals. I got massages during chemo it helps. I figured massage gets rid of bad stuff so I figured that the chemo would kill the radicals released . Best wishes for you . I have to friends with breast cancer. One was diagnosed at 32 yrs old. It just returned but it's been over 20 yrs. She's doing well. They put her on temoxifin after chemo. She developed tumors and just had a hysterectomy. But she's cancer free. My other friend been cancer free 2 yrs now. Stage 2. A lot of new stuff out there. Treatments are very promising now. Many prayers and best wishes for you. Liz
