New and looking for pre op advice
Hi I’m 46 and was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August and have completed 4 rounds of FLOT chemo a few weeks ago and am waiting for scan/MDT meeting to get a date for my surgery, it will either be a full or partial gastrectomy. I was fit prior to diagnosis, 9 stone 10 only 5ft 2 but was quite lean

Nagging ache
Had a mastectomy Oct 15, and it doesn’t feel right, if I lift or stretch, I get this horrible nagging feeling, in the back by shoulder blades, and sometimes it catches my breath and makes me cough, any ideas on what to do to ease this would be good.x

Podcast: A life less stressed
I was listening to another interesting podcast on my morning walk and now have another book to add to my reading list. Dr Ron Ehrlich is a holistic dentist who speaks about stress, diet, movement, breathing, sleep, the immune system and more. Did you know that having teeth removed can change the shape

Lyrica
Hello, I have spinal canal stenosis and periodic limb movement disorder. 2 doctors have given me prescriptions for Lyrica. One for nerve pain, one for PLMD. I tried 75mg at night and hated how I felt the next morning. The doctor has given me a prescription for 25mg at night. Has anyone else tried this

Aching weak legs
I am trying to go from 7mg prednisone to 6.5 msg using the DSNS method. Since starting the decrease my legs feel like I have shin splints from walking several miles. I am stiffer and achier than before. I usually have some increased soreness when I decrease doses but it has never lasted this long

hawthorn berry extract for RLS?
Has anyone tried hawthorn berry extract for RLS? If so, did it help? I saw the following comment online, but it doesn't mention how many milligrams this person took. "Hawthorn berry extract provide incredible relief for restless leg syndrome (RLS) and fast! Side effect is that it strengthens the heart
