Dont always assume its your thyroid
Hi, been hypothyroid for a couple of years now and have recently self medicated as despite being told frequently that i am adequately replaced i feel totally drained. However, like a dog with a bone i refused to give up and was given. A second referral, this time to a brillaint endo who really listened

Sleepless Nights...
I honestly don't know how much more I can take. I'm so close to tears... Tears of fustration. I have so much trouble sleeping, it's ridiculous and the doctors aren't helping ... I don't understand what more I need to do to get help from them. Do I need to have a week of no sleep? Do I need to be drastic

Hi, my baby girl is 4 wks old and we
simply
cannot get her to
sleep
for anything longer than 10min by herself!she sleeps well while being carried in our arms or on our chest but the moment you put her down, she's awake within10min, crying and only quietens once picked up.

fatigue / sleep apnea/cll
My husband has cll (20 years) and he was diagnosed with sleep apnea a couple of years ago and given a machine to improve restful sleep which is an air induced flow through his nose, it needs a snug fitted face mask for it to work correctly. It took sometime for him to get used to wearing it, but it

SLEEP PROBLEMS
This has no doubt been discussed before but I haven't really used this site much yet and so haven't found it. My PD is reasonably controlled during the day but I dread going to bed! As soon as I get in to bed I am uncomfortable, mainly because of my leg which has the tremor. The tremor gets less

Follow Up - Response from California
The other thread was getting a bit long (thanks, everyone, for all the response!) and I wanted to make sure anyone that was interested didn't miss the info. Anyway, here's the response I got from the RLS Doctor in California: "Methadone is a serious drug that should typically be tried after failing

Methadone... good idea or bad idea?
Hello, everyone. There seems to be a bit of a disagreement between my sleep health doctor and my neurologist. While my neurologist doesn't think I have RLS, my sleep health doctor does. Anyway, I've been really tired a lot during the day and was worried my sleep apnea had come back, so I did another

Some additions to the diagnosis. Anyone else?
I have been to get the results of my sleep study today and apparently I have sleep apnea and restless legs syndrome. Hmmm news to me! I had no idea, I slept through the whole thing! hahah. So I wondered how common these two are along with autoimmune arthritis diseases? Apparently they will review me

Dopamine / Narcotic Use..also falling asleep too early
Some of you have told me that you take your dopamine drugs early in the evening so you can sit through a movie, a dinner, a car ride..but you get so drowsy so you sleep by 8pm and than wake back up at 11am with either RLS or Insomnia.. My question is What can be done to keep someone sleeping all night

GUIDE TO 24 MEDICAL MARIJUANA STRAINS
February 04, 2013 | DR. SCANDERSON FOR NORTHWEST LEAF Some strains are clearly familiar and readily available, while others are a bit more obscure and harder to find. Each strain we chose, however, is either a proven gardener's choice or shows up so frequently in collectives that it is helpful to understand

Strain Reviews: Indica and Indica Dominant Cannabis for Sleep Aid and Pain Relief
Working at a medical marijuana dispensary in Denver has allowed me to see a wide variety of people, who all use cannabis for different reasons. One of the most common things patients tend to look for is a strain or two that will help them to sleep at night, either because of chronic pain or insomnia.
