H pylori maybe?
I don't think it's
sibo
as I'm not really bloated , so maybe candida and h pylori. I will try and get tested for h pylori, and hopefully I can sort this out. Does this sound logical to you guys?

Painful IBS
I'm going to insist on taking another hydrogen breath test to see if I have
SIBO
, Because a few years ago I tested positive on that test and took Xifaxan which helped out only for several months.

What is caused more by diet?
I know to some extent I have candid and overgrowth, but I may have also have
sibo
. What I'm wondering is do you think candida is caused more by a poor diet or small intestinal bacteria overgrowth? As I know this is to do with my terrible diet, but was wondering what one is mostly caused by diet?

Depressed and feeling ill
Hi there, I am 99% sure I have Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, my symptoms are exact to those of
sibo
. But what I'm really down about is that the nhs doesn't do testing for this! How am I meant to get a diagnosis?

SIBO THIRD TIME
Back to my original question, has anyone had three or more bouts of
sibo
, I have had all sorts of antibiotics, but as soon as they wear off the
sibo
gradually comes back. I have pro biotics every day and am on :- lanzaprozole, Tramadol, doperamine, buscopal, loperamide and creon.

Lactose and fructose intolerance: unsolved mystery
I have healed my gut (I had Candida) and I can even eat brussels sprouts, onions and peppers, which I never could before, so I don't think it's
SIBO
. Would anyone have any similar experiences or ideas?

SIBO ( small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)
AND I've Done some research and I think I couldn't have
SIBO
. I will try and go to the doctors and get a referral so I can get tested. I don't know wether it's just that my yh it bacteria are slightly mucked up, or wether it's more serious like
SIBO
!

What should I do?
My question is, do you think it's necessary to go to the doctors and get tested for
SIBO
? Or just start to eat healthier, take probiotics and follow a strict gut healing diet?

Hypo w/ Hyper Symptoms
I also have a bacterial and yeast infection going on (what we speculate to be
SIBO
and Candida) in addition to elimination diet (removing gluten, dairy, soy, etc).

Non PA b12 deficiency causes
I'm wondering if I could possibly have
SIBO
but don't know that much about it or really how it effects b12 etc. Has anyone else had similar problems or any success?

Levothyroxine therapy and impaired clearance are the strongest contributors to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
A new paper, which is freely accessible, pointing its finger very clearly at levothyroxine as one of the strongest contributors to a specific gut issue -
SIBO
. So many people here identify gut issues as a major problem.

Some bloating/trapped wind relief! Update
The NHS refused to test for
SIBO
(too "controversial a diagnosis") but referred me to a gastro and dietitian. They had planned to try fodmap but my food diary was balanced and showed no pattern for triggers (which helpfully concluded my trigger was ..."food"!)
