I did the full 30 mins no problem and iced when I returned along with stretches... but the next

Shin Splints!
Well, I'm on week 9 still although its over 11 weeks since I started, was delayed previously by a cold, and after one week 9 run I'm suffering from
shin
splints
. I didn't notice any discomfort on the run itself, but had more pain/discomfort than usual the next day.

Shin splints or not Shin splints? HELP!
So about two days ago i was just walking round town when the front of my shin started to hurt, not a sharp stabbing pain more of a throbbing ache. So yesterday i decided to take a day off from exercise and i still have it today. It feels a bit like when you've banged your leg and your getting a bruise

Shin splints?
I have completed ask the runs to the end of week 6, although I had a week break between runs 2 and 3 of week 6. The only problem is I am starting to get some quite painful aches half way up my left shin.they are not constant buy come at odd moments. I am not sure if I should run through them and stop

Any shin splint or stitch sufferers out there?
I was wondering if anyone else out there has discovered the possible correlation between hydration and
shin
splints
and/or stitch.

Run with shin splints or rest?
Hi all, I have got pretty severe shin splint pain and have been reading conflicting advice regarding running through the pain or resting. What would you suggest? Many thanks in advance for any hints, tips or advice you may have x

Week one completed!!
Don't think it's
shin
splints
(although had them before so getting worried about it happening!), it feels more muscular so think I just need to stretch more before heading out!

Feeling a bit disappointed...
I started off with
shin
splints
, got over that, then had hip pain, got over that...now it's front of foot, ankle pain. I thought I could rest etc & it'd be ok, but it's been a week since my last run & the pain is still there.

Week 3 Run 1 - Done, but really frustrated :(
Do you think these pains are
shin
splints
? Should I take a week off running? I have rung a local running shop that does gait analysis and I am thinking (hoping!) that perhaps it is my trainers? I am currently wearing these Nike Airs to run in….

Lead Legs!
Started week 4 yesterday and the
Shin
splints
are easing (a little) but still think I need to return to the GP. However, The lungs are fine when running and Im not out of breath but both legs are like lead.... Is this normal?

Amazed...W3R3
I thought by week 2 that
shin
splints
and tight hamstrings would derail me, but I've been extra careful to stretch dutifully before and after. Now I'm slightly nervous about week 4 but I will not give up!

Week 2 run 3 completed
I really hope I don't get
shin
splints
, I've been so motivated to do well up until this point. Anyway I now have a 2 day break until Sunday when I begin W3, so I will try to rest my legs and hope that W3R1 is more positive. I'm still determined to complete the program!

Inspired by the London Marathon
Recently, I've suffered with a slight knee injury and a case of the
shin
splints
but undeterred, I put on my knee support and went for two laps around my local park. Keeping it at a snail pace and just enjoying sometime outside in the sun.

Really hoping!
If the blasted
shin
splints
will stay away, I should be able to "run" a good chunk of it.... Here's hoping... really hoping!
