Great to hear that you'll be back running in a few days. I've enjoyed reading your blogs. How about easing in gradually and doing W5R1 twice so that you can test your recovery and ease up if necessary. Dont know about you, but i found W5R1 easier than W4 so I think this is a good one to start with after injury. If all Ok then you can go on to W5R2. Let us know how you get on. good luck.
I have just had to have two weeks off because of painful knees and even though I graduated just before I am being very very careful and am easing back in very gradually because I do NOT want to have to stop!!!
I know it is tempting to try and go full steam ahead to complete the programme but I don't think you can be too careful when going back in after injury. My suggestion would be to try a week where you don't have any long perods of running but short runs and walking such as week 2, even if you just do one then move to the next week.
I found that weeks 7,8 and 9 were the toughies for my knees.
Good luck - let us know how you get on.
will deffo take it easy. I was a bit silly in that i did a 10k walk with my running buddies last week. Have been very good this week though!
