24 hr Calcium Urine Test
I would be interested in knowing what results others have received on this test since being on Pred. I know Pred leaches Ca from the bones. That Ca goes somewhere and if it's not hanging out in the blood, then most likely it's being dumped by the kidneys. Or so it seems to me. It could be plaquing up

Cortisol testing
Morning team :) I have very low cortisol. Had the saliva test last year and the 9am blood test. Wondering this year which is the best all round test to do. Is the urine test the most accurate in peoples opinions and experiences? I have according to Medichecks, adrenal gland dysfunction. I have had

Pluvicto side effect burning question
I had my first round of Pluvicto 10 days ago and besides fatigue and constipation, my main issue has been burning pee for over a week. Went to the clinic and no infection was detected in urine sample. Copious drinking has not helped and the clinic sort of shrugged off problem since I am not feverish

nebuliser recommendations?
I’m hoping to give nebulised saline a go and was wondering is there much difference in types of nebulisers? It would be for the low % saline as this hasn’t been prescribed by my consultant. Thought it may help to clear some much (chronic bronchitis) as I seem to be tied all the time lately- chest feel

Puppy sitting, infections, transplant impatience and the importance of taking photos
Another couple of months have flown by since my last post! Sadly no transplant calls in that time but I did have to go a short time off the list in order to kick a chest infection into touch. Over that now and back on the list which is great news. Doing my best to soldier on with the exercise but been

what do I do
my partner was diagnosed with SLE during pregnancy. We had a little boy 21/06/22 who has neonatal lupus and congenital heart block, he had a pacemaker fitted 24/04/23 so things have been hard. My partners flares are getting worse each time, we did a kidney home test and it came back positive. The hospital

Doctor-lead pregnancy, private GP
Hi! I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and since 12 weeks I am having constant UTIs. It is really depressing as I am not getting any valuable support from GP (they lost my urine sample ones, vaginagal swab - once, never call back and forget to check on me, etc.), A&E told me I should really be seen by

Is it all over?
Hello, so I guess I'm looking for some advice please! I had my FET on Thursday last week (it was a 5 day double embryo transfer) and today I've started bleeding (it's just light at the moment). I'm on 3 utrogestan pessaries a day plus one lubion injection a day as well as 5 progynova tablets a day. I

Injections stopped.
I was noticeably improved feeling good, after 21 weeks of EOD SI. Then I had antibiotics for a water infection, Nitrofurantoin.By day 3 of antibiotics I began to feel off. Mouth coated with something, (thrush) eyes not good, headaches, nervous, limping a bit, hot spark-like tingling, tired on waking.

1st FET - BFN
Had a beta test today and it was BFN - I succumbed to the temptation and tested early with urine tests, so I knew what was coming. We weren't expecting for it to work first time, but still disappointing. Sorry little one 💔 Going to plop myself on a balcony and have some bubbles and sushi tonight to

GFR dropping
Good day: I am new to this hub. I am also on the high blood pressure hub and a hub for Polymyalgia Rheumatica/Giant Cell Arteritis, which I have. My GFR was 42 back in the spring, 39 last month, and 36 this month. I see an oncologist for a protein I carry in my blood. The oncologist referred

Bun creatine ratio
Just a question, on lab work my Bun alone is within range, my creatine alone is within range, but my ratio is high. My GFR has been about 105. Should I be concerned? Also can Ketones in urine test cause protein to leak?

Methylcobalamin in dry form from Oxford Biosciences
After buying the above I have now received the sterile saline solution from Germany - thank you Wedgwood for your advice! I have followed the instructions from Oxford Bio but would just like to clarify a couple of points. As I wrapped the foil around the vial the foil split so the vial was exposed
