Not been the best week for me if I'm honest had some kind of infection either bladder or kidney so was on antibiotics for that but still getting the awful stomach pain I get the pain in my chest aswell it's strange? It hurts when I need to go to the toilet and while I'm going aswell seems I'm just stuck with this now so fed up as to what is causing it. Belly pain wakes me up in the morning and then it randomly comes during the day and in evening. I have done urine and 💩🙈sample but not getting any answers. Has anyone else had this problem and what was causing it?? Probably a stretch but could it be heart related?? Cause its not an infection urine sample came back fine?? 😐🙁😒🙄💔.

Hi Yum199725, so sorry to hear of your troubles.Not sure how long you have had the tummy pain, but when I had a water infection the antibiotics I was given caused tummy pain, and this was stated as one of the side effects. I do hope you feel better soon. The pain went a few daysafter I finished the antibiotics 🤗
I had the pain before antibiotics and then I got it in my lower back which is when I realised there was something wrong when I couldn't lie on my back with it hurting soooo much. Antibiotics got rid of the pain in my back but stomach pain is not gone and I have finished the antibiotics they was strong aswell. I'll attach picture of them x
Did you know that most antibiotics can cause acid reflux badly. My son started taking antibiotics today and by 12pm he started burping alot and started to get pain in his stomach. Suddenly the acid reflux went up into his throat and made his throat sore and tight. I gave him milk to drink followed by ice pops to sort out the burning sensation in his throat. After about a hour pacing up and down the living room. He started to feel better and I was so glad,take care

Hi, I have been on some meds for a few months and then got side effects. I know we are all different but sometimes the impact of the meds can take a while to fully get into the system and then cause a problem with side effects. I had to do trial and error with stopping some of them to see what impact it had. For example I had to stop one of my bp meds due to cramps in my legs and that was after 3 months. It took a week to clear my system and then got better. Naturally you would need to check with your gp. 🤗
Yeah true it does take a while to get used to, I have been on my heart tablet for 2 years nearly and 7 months for my anxiety tablet. Can they affect you randomly after that long?? I know that my heart tablet has been affecting my blood pressure my doctor said its supposed to do that which causes dizziness. I just don't get the stomach pain it's so random and it's hurts to touch aswell just not getting anywhere with the doctors surgery they don't know either. So I will mention to my consultant at my appointment on 21st. Sorry to hear your blood pressure tablet was causing you such issues though are you on a different one?? X
Hi, I have been taken off bp meds now as my blood pressure is fine, although the lower number can be low. I was on mertazapine for about a year, it was excellent for me until I started to get severe muscle aches. It really helped me though with my anxiety after my surgery. I do hope you get sorted soon, it’s so debilitating 🤗
Thanks hun x that's good to know I wasn't aware that mirtazapine can cause muscle aches explains alot, oh that's good you have been taken of bp meds. Yeah I hope i do aswell cause I've been getting pains in my back when I breathe in deep I'm hoping it's just trapped wind lol x
Sorry you have got this worry Yumz. If your urine was clear then it’s not infection. I am not a medic but perhaps you need an X-ray or some more tests. You could have stretched a muscle or pinched a nerve, but it sounds like you need to go back. I am sure the doctor will find out the problem for you. It’s horrible all the worry of things and l feel for you. The anxiety makes everything ten times worse. Hope you soon feel better. Xx
Thanks hun x i even had to do 111 online and they didn't even know 🙄. I'm having blood test next Monday but that's only to check if I'm anemic. I just don't get where this pain has come from or what's causing it 💔🙁
If it gets worse go to AE and gets some X-rays. That’s what l would do. You could have pulled a muscle in your sleep. Can you think of anything strenuous that you have done?
I haven't done anything strenuous haven't been to gym had to pause my membership because of another issue. The pain comes and goes it's so strange! X
I tell you one thing when you have a congenital heart problem boy it does seem to play up with everything. I am a new comer to this family and it has caused more worries than I would care to mention. I am just saying that the mental side can cause feelings which can mimic all sorts of aches and pains and terrible feelings that just don't go away. I get stomach aches but they feel like butterflies that you get first day at school but are they? Then your mind starts to go off one one and it just snow balls from there. I know that if you are concerned you should seek medical advice but if that was the case I might as well pitch a tent out side the accident and emergency. It is so frustrating and I can have alot of empathy with what you are going through.
Thanks yeah I agree congenital heart disease messes with everything just seems one thing after the other for me just lately so fed up. And I still have to carry on like normal cause I'm carer. I just don't know what's causing it anymore 😐💔

It's a nightmare all these health problems when you still have to work I really feel for you.My heart problems mild CAD and moderate LVH didn't start till my carers role with my mum for six years stopped when she died two years ago someone recently said to me that's all the stress you were under now appearing. I in part agree however I do feel sad about that because I really thought now my lovely mum had passed I could start living my life but one health problem and not minor after another is so frustrating.
I know how you feel yumz. I don't how you have managed all your life. For me it is all new but it is horrible. I just want to go back 5 years but that will not happen. Yes I know now I had a few issues looking back but it did not seem to bother me but now its just seems to be worse. May be it is getting worse or is it my mind taking over. But how can you train your mind to ignore something that is so real. It is awful really and I don't have the answer's. You take care.
Hi Felly, I just told Yumz what's been going on with my health at the moment, and my health issues are the same as Yumz at the moment. Iam a carer my self and it's been difficult to cope because my family realize on me to sort everything out what is needed on a day to day basis. Iam sat here right now in pain with my stomach and chest pressure and high blood pressure at the moment it's 157/97 but it was at 820pm in urgent care 175/109. This site is like family on here. This is my only way I can get my worries and concerns across about my health, I just keep on telling myself I don't want to die but it's hard not to think about that. Take care.
I get exactly how feel, I don't want to die either . But it is so hard. Trouble is you just want relief from the aches and pains. But where do you turn to? You try and self analyse yourself. Waiting for answers. Take me for example I just had a blood test to see if my kidney function has come back due to blood pressure medication. But now you have to wait. So then you then try to analyse it to get some form of normality by having evidence to show specialists and doctors to find another reason. Take my blood pressure initially when I saw specialist it was 170/104. So you go on blood pressure medication lisinopril 25mg, that's for blood pressure and help the heart then you read side effects, so a year later kidney function goes down. So I have to experiment with help of the doctor I come off my spironolactone and reduce lisinopril to 20mg. Great my kidney function start to improve, also my blood pressure goes up a bit from 104/60 which was causing dizziness when going from laying to standing. So now I have to see what comes back. But my gut feeling is I need to reduce lisinopril and go back on spironolactone to help with the oxygen transfer. But it is so annoying that you take one set of tablets. And they sort one problem out but bang they cause another. So there is a possibility of a heart transplant in the future if my old heart starts to fail, but do I want a kidney transplant due to the horrible tablets? No I don't want any of them things. Its hard it really is anyway you take care.

Hi Yumz. I just seen your post." I can't believe it" I just told you a few minutes ago that I have the exact problem as you. I have been experiencing chest pressure as well. My problem is after I go for a wee and I have finished my belly goes tight and stays like that for awhile and the tightness comes back in the afternoon as well as the chest pressure. It's wired because my urine ph levels came back ok, the all clear basically like you also. I said iam feel burning sensation across my back and left shoulder blade, because the urine sample came back ok the doctors don't know whats going on with me. We should join forces and work out whats going on with our health. There must be others out there who has experience this. Take care
Hi there, everytime I drink a sip of water the pain gets worse and I get this funny feeling in my chest it's not good. I was supposed to take my medication at 9pm 20mg ( 10mg tablets ) of Propranolol, but I was scared to take it in case it got stuck like it did before today. Everyone is asleep at home and I can't sleep because I'm worried about my health issues at the moment. Iam supposed to be taking the dogs for a walk at 4am until 5am but I don't think I will be able to manage that. My legs feel like jelly at the moment, along with chest pain and stomach tightness. I just wish just for a day pain free 😞

Bless ya. I take a nitrofurantoin daily for interstitial cystitis and keeps symptoms at bay but my daughter got pains like you described and after investigations it turned out to be endometriosis and bladder was sticking to abdo wall and bowel. It’s cyclic pain and worsens around approaching lady time. Worth taking that into consideration. Take care and hope you better soon 🦊x
Sorry to read you've been poorly.I have had a similar experience with peeing for about two weeks now which started when I took my evening or late afternoon Ramapril. The morning dose doesn't seem to affect me apart from noticing that within an hour of taking it I'm back and forth to the toilet about four times but no pain.
I cut my afternoon/ dose down to half to see if that would help but I ended up with pain in my bladder and wanting to pass urine sensation and really not feeling well at all. One night I was so tired and felt just not well I went to bed at 8pm and didn't wake up till 5pm. I go for my yearly CHD tests next week and I'm going to discuss it then. I also have stage 3 kidney disease, that said the reason I haven't contacted my GP before now is because I'm also having angiodoema with antibiotics I was recently prescribed for septic tonsilitis two different lots which are prescribed for people who are allergic to antibiotics yet I still had an allergic reaction. I go to see an allergy testing appointment in December as my GP is concerned about this.
I have never until last year had a reaction to penicillin or antibiotics and I don't understand why this is happening.
I get awful wind pains. Unsure if it’s connected to all the meds, one of them individually or them combined and interacting with each other but when I get it, I can become bloated and notice sharp stabbing pains in my stomach and chest.
Then I feel worried when the stabbing pain is in my chest, despite it being in my stomach too.
I feel when you have heart issues, we can become so attuned to the chest, we begin to notice everything and everything we feel might be threatening. That’s how I often feel anyway.

Ah thanks Deejay, yeah just seems like I'm having more bad days then good just lately, today is ok actually. I will mention to my consultant about it and hopefully they can advise what to do x
Ah thanks hun x I'm doing better then I was but I still keep getting this weird aches and pains in my back and my ribs and chest starting to think it's side effects from both jabs. But even so I'm still gona be mentioning to my consultant cause I get a pain in my back when I breath deep. And tight feeling in my belly and pains it's so weird. 😞💔. Hope your keeping well x 🥰

I’m doing ok thank you, my left boob is still minion coloured (which the children find hilarious 😂) and it’s itchy as anything now but all seems to be heading in the right direction 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Feeling like I’m getting a bit more confidence back to be able to be a more independent parent again with my little guardian monitoring it all in the background. I know it won’t save me but at least it’s gathering information.
