Sorry. I've a few questions.....
After my bloods yesterday I've a few questions sorry. Iron. I take 2x Tardyferon tablets a day. They are 80 each. I've now finally got my iron to a good level. Do I carry on taking the supplements or do I stop? I've no view really either way, I'm happy my iron levels are up and I want to keep them up

Has selenium supplement helped t4 to t3 conversion?
Hi all, I have been taking 200 mcg selenium supplement four hours after 75 mcg sodium levothyroxine for a year. My last annual blood tests showed that my TSH 3.48 no test for T4. Doctor at that time said under 5 is normal. The current annual blood test now shows TSH 7, T4 is 17. Dr will increase

Recommendation for a Endo?
Hi I haven't posted in a while as I have been feeling okay however the last week or so, things have changed. I've been diagnosed Hypo for a few months now - started on a low dose of Levo (25mg). Recently this has been increased to 50mg (I know that it's a small dose). I have some questions - that

Getting closer to being well
Good morning. Since Decemeber when i had my first tests on armour a lot has happened. I felt wonderful and then started having slight hyper symptoms about 6 wks in. T4/T3 levels good but .04 TSH after 8 wks. I didn't notice until after the fact of the ENDO pulling me off Armour 1 grain (60 mg),

I am new here and am seeking some guidance on improving my Thyroid antibodies.
I have been reading the very helpful posts on this forum and while they have been helpful I am somewhat confused as to what would be right for me and the correct way to go about tackling these antibodies. My research has led me to believe I should cut out Gluten; then Dairy, Soy etc. (Paleo approach)

Can you pls advise me on the best supplements to take for good overall support for autoimmune diseases I have Hypo & Connective Tissue/Lupus. I feel it could be a bottomless pit when buying all the various supplements so just looking for the key ones to take. At the moment I have but don't always take

First appointment of finding out what's going on!
Had our first appointment today. For me it was kinda horrible. I can't stand smears or anything like that so the examination made me feel nauseous! I've got to do some bloods next Monday to check my progesterone levels (the doctor doesn't think my GP timed the first one right) and I've got to go and

GP appt to discuss blood test results
Well after several weeks & various blood tests I had appt with Gp. She confirmed my high Thyroid Periodxase antibodies which she informed me I showed positive for in 2014 but was never told about. When I said this obviously confirms I have hashimotos she said not necessarily there are many forms of thyroid

Achy joints
I've been on NDT since the beginning of November 2016 & doing really well. However, for the past 3 days I've had an achy feeling in my knuckles & finger joints - this went away with ibuprofen. Today I'm starting to feel a few twinges in my elbows & knees too. I started taking 200ug of selenium on Thursday

Help w RT3 result please
I'd be grateful for help interpreting my bloods, esp rt3 which I know little about (and recently read something here about how rt3 may not be significant at all?). I'm on alternating doses 75/100 levo and 10 t3. My main bugbear is **fatigue** but am also having a hard time w emotional reactivity to stress

Curing Hashimos
I just spent the afternoon listing to a pharmacist who had hashimotos, and cured herself. Her name is Izabella Wentz. She had a 9 day seminar and of course she has written a book. You might want to Google her. She went on gluten free diet, and also stopped dairy, which she claimed ended her thyroid

Selenium
Hi all I have just bought selenium and wonder about when I should take this. I take b12, b complex, d3 and K together with either lunch or evening meal depending on work. Can I just add the selenium to that mix?

Does anyone take B1 supplement?
Hi all I've been watching The Thyroid Secret and they mention taking Thiamine (B1) supplement. I hope I've spelt that correct! I wondered if anyone takes it or people's thoughts on taking this supplement to help with fatigue? I've read so much on here about B12, Zinc, magnesium, iron, VitD, and selenium

Dosage upped every 8 weeks but....
Hi Everyone. Normally when I get my levo upped I start to feel better and carry on feeling better for about 5 weeks....then I dip again for the last 2/3 weeks until I see my Endo again. This has been the pattern for the last 4/5x my dose has been upped. Not this time tho unfortunately. I still feel rubbish

NDT versus Levo/T3 & Vitamin support Advice
Hi, I just switched to NDT but feel terrible. I perhaps should have tried to supplement my 175mcg levo with T3 first? Only on getting my medichecks results last week did I discover I had Hashis so although I KNEW I was very sick on levo I did not appreciate I also had Hashis. I have not been gluten
