Just to update you...... I went to see my Diabetic consultant....surprise surprise I got to see his registrar and not the consultant. BUT!!!!! I went armed with the information I have had from you all on here and HE LISTENED . I have to go for a blood test , testing Ferritine, selenium, Iron and other things I cant understand..well his writing. He wants to rule things out one by one. My partner went with me and said we had been on this forum and had more information and advice from people who suffer from RLS , than we had from any of the doctors....he took it very well.
So we will see what happens once Ive had my blood test. its going to my Gp also.
I can't thank you all enough for your support and advice . When you think you are on your own and no-one understands it really helps to know there are people out there that do. We both have learnt so much already.

So kind of you to let us know how it went for you at your appointment, even if you did not see the consultant. Being listened to today by the registrar, is positive news and we are happy to have been of some help. Knowledge is power.
It was good that your partner accompanied you today. Two is company.
Btw I meant to say before, I had the same problem with the rotigotine patches not sticking and found that if I clamped my palm over the patch immediately after applying it for about 30 - 40 seconds it stayed on really well.
