Recovering from liver failure with "snowball" thyroid issues
Please be so kind and advise what dosages should I take of Nature Thyroid 32.5 mg and what supplements, dosage and times interactions. Finally, 2 weeks ago, (after an agony of 2 years pains and zillions of drs), an angel dr prescribe the NT, 2/day. I start to feel a little better, still I am very cold

Pretty please could someone help with results?
Think I understand the thyroid results now and looks like they're improving: TSH - 0.75 (0.55-4.78) T4 - 16 (10-25) Also asked for the below following advice on here but not sure how to interpret them and whether I need to supplement: Ferritin - 24 (7.0 - 150.0) Folate

Help!
I am new to this community, so sorry if this post is a common one. In 2013 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism whilst pregnant, I saw an endocrinologist in hospital who told me anti-bodies were detected, so I have assumed I have Hashimotos. Since then I have had little advice from GP, just a prescription

Results advice on WP thyroid please
Hi everyone I am 61 years old and was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2004 and until last November was taking 100mcg of Levo almost since I was diagnosed. I watched Amy Myers great series and realised that I wasn’t being treated as well as I could have been. I found Dr P on the internet and saw him late

Selenium ACE, Selenium With Zinc, etc?
Hi everyone. As selenium is often sold in combination with other nutrients, which would you recommend: selenium on its own; selenium with vitamins A, C and E; selenium with zinc; or selenium with ACE and zinc? Ideally I would regularly test for these nutrients but the cost is somewhat prohibitive! Cheers

Alternative ways of managing Hashimotos
Hi everyone, I've been doing some research on how a lack of iodine can have a negative impact on your thyroid. Has anyone tried supplements? I've found this one which claims "The body uses the minerals Iodine and Selenium to make thyroid hormones, which are essential for heat, energy and metabolism

Blood results - advice please and some questions
Hello again, I've some blood results that I'd like some help on please. I had these done as I was feeling hyper on Levo. I don't think the results indicate being hyper though do they? I hope you can see the image. My symptoms were insomnia (total), agitated, irritable, night sweats, pulse in 90s.

Sore gums
Does anyone else have sore gums/mouth? I am hashi and take 125mg Levo daily along with the usual vit d, B12, selenium, hcl with peptin and ibuprofen for awful joint pain/swelling. I have recently developed sore swollen gums. My dentist says it's bacterial gingivitis and put me on antibiotics and a mouth

Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Hashimoto's confirmed yesterday. Resuming meds after initial plummet when starting. Update...
Hello everyone; & thanks once again for encouragement, feedback, input, etc. after my first post last week. My blood results are back (if you remember, my dr suggested stopping meds after I saw her on Sunday & just confirming that everything we are treating is, in fact, accurate!) Yes, I am hypothyroid

Selenium Deficiency and Thyroid Health.
I read this and wondered if selenium is in all these foods and an overdose is dangerous, how do we know if/when we may be taking too much. I put Brazil nuts in my morning nutriblend drink too. It's a very interesting article though. http://mailchi.mp/nahypothyroidism/this-mineral-may-be-contributing-to-your-poor-thyroid-function

Increase Dose (but not telling GP)
Hi I was diagnosed in 2012 with hypothyroidism and am now on 75mcg levothyroxine. Although all my labs show up as fine or in range (never told what they actually are), I still feel comfortable at analyzing tired and aches and my hypothyroid weight was 76Kg. Having dieted, exercised the weight never

Hair loss due to thyroid dysfunction?
I am new here and am dealing with hair loss which began three years ago when I had a hysterectomy. Prior to the surgery I had gorgeous hair. I worked out, ate moderately healthy (not Paleo, which I do now), and didn’t even have optimal levels of vitamins and minerals. I suspect I had thyroid issues

Hashimotos just been dignosed
Hi all. I've been hypothyroid for 18 years and have never felt good despite my levels being "normal". Last week I got sent to the hospital because of a goitre that has been there since before xmas. The Specialist told me this was normal for someone with Hashimotos to which I replied I don't have Hashimotos
