Newly diagnosed Hashimoto
Hi all, I have just been diagnosed with Hashimoto ‘s thyroid disease. I am fortunate to have no symptoms but found a lump on my thyroid. As I have a sister with the disease and my other sister is type 1 diabetic it seemed an obvious diagnosis. My free t4 is 16.4 g(12.0-22.0), tsh (1.42(0.27-4.2) and

Complete relief from daily pelvic / bladder / lower back pain and fatigue just 2 months after changing diet and using castor oil packs
I was diagnosed with endo in 2011 and have suffered the usual painful symptoms as well as chocolate cysts, and rectal bleeding shortly before my period. Over the years I found that eating very healthily kept many of my symptoms at bay. However, at Christmas I got flu and was very tired for some weeks

T3 or not T3 and dealing with GP
Hello again. In my last post about my latest results greygoose pointed out that my TSH / FT4 / FT3 results suggested that I wasn't converting very well now and that I needed to introduce T3. I was going to go along the self-treating route but I'll be honest I can't stand any potential confrontation

Adrenal Gland Improvement
Just wondering if anyone might care to give an opinion on my adrenal saliva results. I've had several tests done over the past few years, but as I experienced problems initially when I switched to NDT in October 2016, I took some supplements for adrenal fatigue, but had a test done mid 2017 and added

Antibiotics and vitamins and levothyroxine (Hashimoto sufferer)
Hi I have been diagnosed with cellulitis of my ear and prescribed the antibiotic Clarithromycin twice a day for a week. I don't think I've had antibiotics since I started taking Levo for Hashimoto's, so I wondered: A) how far apart from Levo should I take the antibiotic? B) will the antibiotic interfere

Good morning ladies, 3 months prior my treatment I started taking vitamin D / omega 3 / folic acid / selenium/ zinc / DHEA & Coc10! The doctor who did the ultrasound could spot two follicles so I did a little research in regards to what i can do to improve the quality of the few follies I have .

Puzzled - does anyone have any ideas - thyroid resistance maybe? - apologies for the essay!! x
Hi Everyone, I'm really puzzled about my thyroid journey and I'm a bit stuck about where to go next - any ideas would be gratefully received.... When first diagnosed 4 months postpartum back in 2010 I ended up on 200mcg Levo - never felt well, symptoms didn't resolve, weight kept creeping on etc. Labs

Hashimoto, new here, need your help.
Hello, can you please help my wife to adjust her medication. I’m writing for her as she doesn’t speak English. I have an account myself as el_escogido but I opened this account for her to avoid confusion. Female, 67 years old, diagnosed Hashimoto first 1998, stopped treatment 2000, restarted treatment

Anyone with advice on levothyroxine seasonal dose change
I dropped my levothyroxine dose from 75mcg to 50mcg one week ago, because I’d started feeling hyper with anxiety and palpitations, I’ve had episodes of this in the past, however this time I had had a blood test a couple of weeks previously that showed low TSH 0.63 and T4 16.8. I don’t have the money

When should I take T3?
So after a definite "no" from the doctor about prescribing me T3, I have ordered some 25mcg tablets myself. My plan is to quarter them to start off with and retest levels in 2 months. Then if necessary, up the dose to half a tablet etc. I currently take supplements (B complex, vit D, probiotic, omega
