3 months prior my treatment I started taking vitamin D / omega 3 / folic acid / selenium/ zinc / DHEA & Coc10!
The doctor who did the ultrasound could spot two follicles so I did a little research in regards to what i can do to improve the quality of the few follies I have .
I found a german article online and a Lady there advising what sorta supplements to take in what dosage .. I was surprised by the feedback women on a cycle before and after taking the supplements .
I thought I had nothing to lose but a few quid so I gave it a go.
I had 6 follicles on the scan with a size of 18 mm ! But actually on the day of retrieval I had 7 eggs !
6 got fertilised & 4 made it to good quality blastocysts!
I know that maybe some women take the pregnacare supplements but I done some comparisons and the dosage is not high enough .
I have some leftover DHEA ( 18 capsules ) coq10 (26 capsules ) selenium & zinc ! I’d like to give them away !
Maybe some wants to try how their stomach can handle them before buying them - I’m happy to post them!
If I get enough interest I’ll try get that article translated .
There’s also a link for the male side as well but I can’t really comment .
There’s some other things I did throughout my journey but I’m in a rush to write that down ...
but I’ll try to update later.
I hope you all have a great day .
Greetings from my office xx

Well done you for researching 😉 thumbs up to Dr Google 👍
Thank you for sharing and that could be very useful to others could be the difference between failing or working 😊it’s amazing what a difference vitamins/ diet can make!
P.s love the title 😆 also edited it as I realise you are pregnant with twins! Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉 all the best with the pregnancy 😍 xoxo
I mailed my fertility center the resukts from my pelvic scan and the doctor recommented 100mg for at least 3 months.
I take quite a few vitamins and were wondering if I should up the dose dr say I’m not ovulating so I’ll try anything to help. I take vit d 12.5ug vit c 200mg, zinc 15mg coenzyme q10 30mg, folic acid 400ug omega 3 fish oil 1000mg, iron 14mg. I force feed my bf these and selenium 100ug Vit A 800ug vit E 10ug. I was reading should prob have a higher dose of coq10 and zinc for fertility.
Hey there... I will let you know what dosage I used however I am afraid that this wont have any influence in ovulating. These are for the qulity of the follicles / eggs but here it goes:
Thanks yeah it’s for good quality eggs and sperm I must ovulate sometime as I’ve been pregnant 3 times the last was a mc so maybe the egg quality wasnt good enough who knows I have an appointment with the fertility clinic soon so hoping for some answers.
proir to ny treatment I started drinking some special tea:
the tea is improving the endometrium. For improved egg quality im using supplements. See my link in bio ! Here’s a google translate what’s the tea good for : The Klapperstorchtee consists of a mixture of different herbs. These include, for example, basil, lady's mantle, raspberry leaves, lemongrass, rosemary or sharply. Each of these ingredients has special effects on the female body, which as a whole make it possible, for example, to promote ovulation, increase sexual desire, regulate the cycle or build up the lining of the womb.!
Below the link to my instagram fertility journey account ( admin I hope its ok to post )
During the treatment I drunk daily a glass of fresh pomegranate Juice.
I lost as much weight as I could ( but was / am still overweight )
I think the main thing for me... was being positive and not googling too much. I didnt know any of the meds names during stimulation and I couldnt figure it anyways whilst being ther as it was all in turkish.
I hope this helps you ladies a little.
There amino acids I think, I’ve see them to buy there in fat burners aswel CLAs etc but it ends up costly there in some men’s pregnacare supplements but low doses
Have u tried any maca, vitex, tribulus type herbal sups?
I only used what I posted and had 0 experience with the Male supplements and as mentioned I am pregnant with twins on my first cycle. and I am 40 years old
Hi silvanti. I was diagnosed today with a low egg count. The doctor couldn’t say how many eggs I have but she did t see any follicles on my ovaries.
Is that your case? I’ve been having irregular cycles and not ovulating. I now need to make sure I ovulate other wise she said that I won’t even be suitable for assisted fertility.
Were you ovulating? That seems to be my problem. Irregular period and yesterday dr couldn't see any follicles.
Were you prescribed any of those supplements or were they prescribed? I'm back at the doctors in two weeks and want to make everything that can to "improve" (if possible) my low egg quantity.
No ! The only thing my doctor recommended was DHEA ! I wasn’t entitled fir NHS funding so we went abroad! As we didn’t have the time to save up the money for the treatment in the UK ! I had low egg count too !
I would really recommend reading 'it starts with the egg' which explains the science and research behind egg quality and recommends different supplements depending if you're trying naturally /have pcos /are older /using ivf. I've only been taking the supplements for about 6 weeks but feels good to be doing something while I wait for our first proper fertility appointment - first one we had in April was just a discussion and organising tests but they're all good so hoping to start clomid in September xx
