Is there any recommended specialist centres in the UK?
I have had epilepsy for 10 years and have never gone more than a year before having a
seizure
. They always occur in winter months when the mornings are dark and they always happen in early mornings usually before 7am within the first 30 minutes of waking.

They stopped my dads warfarin afterr his INR soared from 3.0 to over 10.0 in two days. Now they want to stop his Clexane for biopsies!?
I've only just recovered from brain surgery after my neuro refused to see me and I ended up having to have brain surgery after a massive
seizure
triggered by bleeding. Why don't they listen?

'I'm used to bad stuff happening'
It was so horrible watching him suffer and not being able to make it better, the first few times he fitted I cried like a baby, but it got easier and by the 5th
seizure
I was tired and distraught by his suffering, I wanted him to pass away so he wouldn't be in pain any more, he died during the 12th

University students health (first draft)
Any student should have an idea of what to do when an epileptic student has a
seizure
or what food is good for a diabetic, for an example. That can be achieved through effective awareness campaigns by students and campus clinics.

I'm a carer to my wife who has difficult to control Epilepsy
The picture shows Lisa having depth & surface grid recording being done at Liverpool in the summer. The data was recorded across 8 days and to our surprise her epilepsy (
seizure
activity) is starting in the frontal lobe not her left temporal lobe as first thought. This new discovery is important for DBS

Extreme anxiety over the world ending, please read!
I've also been so terrified I've been unable to wake up, like I'm aware of what's going on but unable to respond or awaken, almost like a
seizure
, I'm not sure if there's a name for it.

My son is so unwell and we need help
He then went back to the ward and had
seizure
like symptoms and was not responding even to pain. He ended up back in ICU for another night. He is waiting for neurologists and an EEG.

Help needed dad with end stage copd and possibly loosing the plot
Then he had a couple of weird mood swings and then a sort of
seizure
. Mum called 999 thinking stroke, they took him in, he had another couple but nothing was ever diagnosed and he was discharged from hospital. His discharge summary said end stage copd.

Use the
seizure
diary option to record seizures, and share with your doctor. Store photos of your medication so medical staff and your pharmacist can see at a glance what you take.

A natural approach
Hi My husband and I think of ourselves as a team endeavoring to find a good way to deal with Functional Dissociative
Seizure
and its impact on our life. Although FDS had brought some unexpected blessings it had also tipped our life and plans and dreams upside down.

It can be helpful to keep a ‘seizure diary’
It can be helpful to keep a ‘

Telling potential employers about your epilepsy.
What’s more, they couldn’t be blamed for not doing so. http://www.epilepsy.org.uk/info/equality • If your employer doesn’t know about your epilepsy, they won’t know how to help you during and after a
