Nerve ablation
I take 600mg pregabalin and 200mg Amitryptaline but had stronger pain relief stopped after a massive
seizure
last year. I’m trying to manage expectations about this treatment because so far nothing has worked. If anyone has experience of this treatment I’d really appreciate hearing from you.

Anyone else experiencing seizure onset for first time after having Covid 19
Hello everyone, had my first tonic clonic on Wednesday one week after being discharged from hospital after I was admitted with Covid pneumonia. I have a history of vertigo, fibromyalgia and severe asthma but no previous epilepsy or seizures and no family history of it.

Seizure
Welp, Ryan had his first
seizure
since Father’s Day of 2019. I work at our local hospital, and was at work at the time. He was at home with my 5 year old and luckily our roommate was home as well. So he was assisted.

My 21 year old brother has HSE. Mom isn't coping, but I think he seems to be progressing well? Advice/support?
Later that night he had a Grand Mal
seizure
, rushed to the hospital. Highest temp that day was 107. That night his COVID test came back positive, but it ended up being a false positive. He was tested twice more consecutively and they were negative.

I was hoping to get my lisence back but you have to be
seizure
free for 6 months or more after getting it implemented and that hasn’t happened yet

Cannabinoids for MS & Seizures - FYI
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a drug called
Epidiolox (cannabidiol)
, which comes as a liquid solution that's taken by mouth, to treat two
severe
disorders; it has not been researched for MS, however.

Heart failure and low energy levels. Seizure like episodes
I also suffer from dizziness, fainting and what I would describe as
seizure
like episodes. Jerking, not responding to anyone, falling to the floor. Very scary especially for my daughter to experience. Thank you for answers to any part of this 💖

Epilepsy Support.
I’m having approximately 20 simple focal
seizure
a day for the past two weeks. Just looking for some like minded support or tips on how to deal. I’m on 3 different meds and they don’t seem to be helping.

Trying to recover
I had a
seizure
out of the blue and I have been dealing with thinking everything in the world is wrong with me. I ride horses and travel with my horse. I was upset thinking my life was over. Now anxiety and I mean severe has reared its head. Panic attacks also.

Is something else going on?
They ruled out a stroke but everyday having odd new pains, weakness and tingling through my whole body Neurologist put me on an anti-
seizure
medication to help with nerve pain - not really working . I’m wondering if it could be from long term prednisone or it’s wrong diagnosis?

It is therefore unlikely that they will ‘capture’ a
seizure
in a random 1-hour slot. Has anybody got any experience with this?

I hate psychiatrists and I dont know what to do
I asked if I could go off it and he told me if I went off cold-turkey I would have a "huge
seizure
" and that if it was helping I should keep taking it. I figured he was the expert. I saw him every 2 months for about two years and we tried many medications.

Are dentists or opticians medical scans sent on to the patients GP?
I had a double
seizure
in 2018, fractured my skull, never scanned or MRI by NHS, but my jaw was xrayed three days after the incident, by my dentist. My eyes were scanned in March this year by my optician, later that month I was diagnosed by my GP as having Diabetes 2.

Getting a past FND/ conversion disorder diagnosis revised in light of new (correct) diagnosis.
A neurologist I’m seeing has now classed these '
seizure
' episodes as ‘faints causing convulsions’. But I’m finding that doctors get very defensive when I bring up the issue of past misdiagnosis. Also, and this was really upsetting.

Surprise!
His MRI from this last stint at the hospital for a
seizure
is confirmed unchanged. He was presented to tumor board on Tuesday morning where a group of doctors checked his past MRIs from their system and compared.
