Doubling of absolute Lymphoctes
It has been 11 months now since I was diagnosed with CLL. Thereafter I have been tracking my WBC and Lymphocytes . The trend curve over a year is in the attached picture. I was also taking green tea extract , curcumin , vitamin C and D since being diagnosed. Until now did not experience any B symptoms

What dosage of calcium supplement is recommended when on prednisolone?
I'm on 7.5mg of prednisolone. At my rheumatologists appointment today I advised him that I wouldn't be taking up his recommendation of Alendronic Acid despite having a very small amount of osteoporosis in my lower lumber region. I advised him that I was taking Caltrate which has 600mg calcium/200 IU

Do medium-chain triglycerides downregulate mTOR?
I ran across some info about MCTs turning off mTOR and amping up AMPK (possibly resulting in an increase in autophagy and also lipolysis). Does anyone have any info on whether or not MCTs are potentially beneficial for prostate cancer?

Green-Tea Post-Transplant
Some medications that suppress the immune system's attack on the transplanted organ also attack and damage the kidney, which is especially unfortunate since the kidney is the organ most frequently transplanted. But green tea and green tea extract in pill form have been found to offer some protection

Ibs tretment
IBS gradually increased in frequency and severity so had to see what I could do. Thanks to the posts here I already feel much better. Used Buscopan which eased the stomach cramps quickly. Now taking probiotics (1 per day) and peppermint oil (2 per day) . Early days but definitely feeling better. Thanks

Does anyone have experience with herbal supplements for PMR?
I am about a month into treatment for PMR. So far 20 mg/day of prednisone is helping, but I still have significant pain in the AM. After talking to my rheumatologist, I just started some turmeric in addition to prednisone. It's too early to tell if it helps. Does anyone have any experience augmenting

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation
