Baricitinib and Low Dose Naltrexone
After being hospitalised for an infection due to using Cimzia for 5 years, I have been given the choice of having
Rituximab
or Baricitinib, and thinking of favouring Baricitinib as it is not a biological drug.

Cough post FCR
Hello everyone I completed FCR in January and now enjoying what I hope will be a long remission. Bone marrow test had no detectable CLL and my doctor has said this result is the best possible outcome of treatment. My health has been good since treatment but at the beginning of June I caught a nasty

Front Line Treatment in Canada?
My father was just at his CLL appointment with a specialist here in Vancouver, BC and we were advised that targeted therapies like Ibrutnib are not approved in Canada unless you are 17p deleted. What are members in Canada using a front line treatment? Is it all just FCR even if you unmutated? Is Ibrutnib

Rituximab and mood disorders?
I got really bad anxiety and depression approximately 2 months after my
rituximab
infusions. I don't know if this is as a result of the infusions as I got an informational pamphlet about
rituximab
and it mentioned mood changes and to tell your rheumy. But my rheumy says it's not from that.

Rituximab and Anxiety
Hi Sweetcandy. I have had two infusions of this Biologic drug and have not experienced any adverse side effects. In the past I have suffered with chronic anxiety and worked on a support helpline for people with this dreadful problem. We tend to get in to a "fear of fear" situation and find it difficult

Looking for advice please
As none of the medication I have previously tried had been effective my specialist is recommending we try
Rituximab
or Belimumab next, has anyone had positive experiences of these?

Status update 17 months post-FCR
I only had one negative reaction - the very first cycle - to the
rituximab
with a slightly increased temp which was managed by stopping, then restarting the infusion at a slower rate.

Platelets & me
I was given
Rituximab
as part of my treatment which might have helped offset it until 2015, but acquired ITP is suspected as a possible side-effect of chemo, so the other components of the treatment probably did that.

U-MRD6 is the new MRD-
U-MRD6 = Undetectable-Minimal Residual Disease (U-MRD6) (10-6 sensitivity) Discussion The majority of pts with BM U-MRD4 after first-line FCR were MRD6+ and these patients had shorter PFS; MRD analysis with a more sensitive assay may therefore more accurately assign prognosis. Not accounting for

Pain medication/ help
Have so far tried cimzia, humira, Benepali,
rituximab
and tox infusions - some worked for a short while, some not at all. I have been on prednisolone since I was diagnosed at varying doses - sometimes as low as 1mg a day but currently on 10mg daily and haven’t been below 5 in a couple of years.

CLL Treatment Sequencing by Dr. Susan O'Brien
In a 2-year follow-up of the trial, patients who were treated with venetoclax and
rituximab
demonstrated a progression-free survival (PFS) benefit compared with bendamustine and
rituximab
at 84.9% and 36.3%, respectively.

Feeling really lost and scared.
He has been having
Rituximab
with Gemcitabine and Oxaliplatin. However yesterday his Consultant said his platelets are too low (50) to have the 6th and final planned dose.

Neulasta side effects
I am going through FCR and I had a rough time after the 4th round. I am thinking that it was the Neulasta shot that did the most damage. Earlier in my treatment, my oncologist mentioned a possibility of reducing the dosage of pegfilgrastim. I was wondering if anybody else has had similar issues or
