Asking the impossible???
I have just completed seven weeks on Sertraline and after a rocky couple of weeks I gradually felt better. I’d would now say I’m back to my old self which is great. I decided that it was a good time to try to improve my acid reflux using lanzoprazole which I had been prescribed in the past and despite

Anyone have hypercalcemia?
Hi, All! I've been doing pretty well since my diagnosis and b12 injections for 5 months or so. I still had some lingering symptoms that I felt were not related to pernicious anemia. Anyway, the other day I ended up in the ER with kidney stones and hyponephrosis (urine backing up into kidney, swollen

So very grateful for Thyroid UK
I just have to express my gratitude to this forum and the admins who give of their time to help us who are or have been floundering with NHS input (or lack of input+even dismissiveness of our thyroid journey) with regard to our thyroid and other connected issues. My son will be 48 this year and that’

Hello all. Thanks to all who’ve shared their wisdom over the years. I hope the following can help others in this forum. We recently started our PWP on Nicotinamide (500mg, A squared fm Amazon) and switched from B12 to a B complex (Pure Encapsulations fm Amazon). There has been an improvement in

TTG ABS test results
My anti tissue transglutaminase test came back as <1.9cu. And IgA as 1.4g/L. As usual my surgery have put normal within range. Does anyone have any thoughts on these levels? I have done another B12 blood test online, not through my surgery, and it has come back borderline low.

Bile Acid Diarrhoea
I have this condition and take colestyramine daily which controls it well. I recently asked my GP to have my fat soluble vitamins checked (A,D and K, I believe) in a blood test as this has not been checked in a long time. The email! came back saying there was no indication for this. The literature

No more B12 injections at local surgeries
Grampian Health Board has now decreed that B12 injections will now be given at the Vaccination centre in Inverurie on a Tuesday. This is 15 miles away with no direct bus. I arrived on Tuesday to be told that 1. I should have had a repeat prescription for the vials and collected them from the pharmacy

Natto can prevent cavities!
I discovered that natto is high in K2 which is lacking in vegans and which the lack of can cause frequent cavities. Natto is high in K2 besides the other possible help with reversing the symptoms of Parkinson's as I posted recently. Here is the link I came across today. You have to check it out. [

recommended B vitamins
I have been taking Lamberts Methyl B complex for a long time but would like to try another multi B vitamin that is often recommended on this forum. Of course I can’t find it now so would be grateful if someone could remind me. I seem to remember there was one that was a large tablet (not good for me

Hypothesis XIIII
That a higher or lower concentration of B12 might be more bioavailable and therefore more effective and appropriate for treatment. —------------------------------------------------------------ The level of competence of those studying B12 is not sufficient enough to test this hypothesis or even consider

I have PA, all was going well, but now they're trying to mess with my b12 perscipton!!!
Hi all,I'm a long time lurker, but haven't posted myself in a while. About 8 years ago, I was fighting to save my right leg due to bone tumors. 12 surgeries later, I lost that fight. During that time, I started losing weight, tons of anxiety, palpitations ect...This would all be normal reaction to this
