I discovered that natto is high in K2 which is lacking in vegans and which the lack of can cause frequent cavities. Natto is high in K2 besides the other possible help with reversing the symptoms of Parkinson's as I posted recently.
Here is the link I came across today. You have to check it out. askthedentist.com › vitamin-k2-benefits Vitamin K2 Benefits for Dental Health - Ask the Dentist
Wow! I can't believe I came across. Hope you all can see the connection.

K2, not "K." What people casually call "vitamin K" is actually K1, re clotting (what you get from kale and broccoli and such)...plus you need D3 as K1's activating cofactor).
Very differently, the subject of natto and "k"is actually K2, calcium preservation and pushing calcium into your bones where it is needed to produce bone tissue and serve bone density. Very distinct, nothing to do with K1. And you can overdose on K1.
Good. It's part of the formula. Many people do not know the critical role of D3 and how many vital functions is part of. D3 deficiency underlies so many different things... If you know that you're ahead of the game. Bravo!
I can't give you such advice. You should check the link above to find out more. One tablespoon of Natto contains approx. 150 mcg. of K2 as MK-7. And my multi contains 240 mcg of K1. But you really should check out the link above. Just copy and google it.
I started taking a teaspoon at breakfast, and a t spoon in the late afternoon. I wonder if it's different depending on whether you're eating it, or taking a powder supplement.
Eating the whole food is always better with added benefits and less likely to cause any side effects. Also since it is so high in K2 I don't see any reason to take the supplement form.
I found that just sprinkling some salt on it makes it go down much easier too. I think you should start with small amounts at first and gradually increase.
One thing everyone should know is that it does thin the blood and no one on blood thinners should take it without consulting their doctor.
