Another update

My husband and i have finally got answers we needed as last Thursday and Friday we were badly let down by the medical professionals. Monday afternoon this week finally saw a cll specialist and was fully informed of what was going on he was severely anaemic and is currently on steroids as basically his white cells are attacking his red cells also has a large lymph node on his kidney also on folic acid aswell got a petscan in a weeks time and then will get to know what and when his treatment will start

So sorry you have had to battle to get to this point. I hope you get the answers you need and your husband gets the right treatment. Keep engaging positively with the health professionals in this waiting period as the wheel that squeaks loudest gets heard. Keep us updated. Here if you need to vent
