Upon losing my father , some retrospect. Take what you need and leave the rest.
Tysm for all. Unfortunately my dad's death was long and horrifying bc he couldn't breathe . He died of leukemia to my knowledge, not prostate cancer and please dont jump on me for saying so bc I am vaxxed and I'm not an anti vaxxer, but I have no doubt that that the vaccines sped up his demise as he got

Foot/mouth hand or something else??
Does anyone know what this is. It started with red burning spots then turned into patches. Then I had chicken like pox all over my body and face. Hands rashes are similar to feet. But my thumbs are going white too and thin skin. Anyone know what's happening. I'm very stressed. Doctors are not helping

Covid or chest infection?
I started with covid at the weekend. The last few days I've had a chesty cough, and today it's producing thick yellow mucus. My peak flow is low, I have on and off tightness, especially after coughing & SoB. Before covid, my asthma hadn't be that controlled, but I hadn't got so far as seeing the GP.

Seeking a good travel insurance company for rheumatoid arthritis
Just wondered if anyone has any advise on travel companies they have used that covers rheumatoid arthritis. Also I noticed that for Corona virus cover you have to be up to date with COVID vaccines and unfortunately I missed the spring booster so any advise for cover would be gratefully received. Many

Scared I might have lung cancer
Home About Cancer Cancer Chat Post I have a cough most of my life, but just lately I have had a horrible, relentless tickly cough, to the point I gag, and pee myself! I went to AnE in February for a cough that was really hurting my ribs.... They saw me and sent me to ambulatory care. They did test

Eligibility for autumn 2023 COVID-19 booster jabs
We have updated our page on COVID-19 vaccinations to include information about who will be eligible for the autumn 2023 boosters. This will be a wider group than those who were eligible for the spring boosters. Read more here: https://www.lupusuk.org.uk/covid19-vaccination/

Advice for Ongoing Condition?
Have been on the forum for a while, and has been a great help but asking for advice. About 2 years ago I had problems walking, was constantly tired and generally felt absolutely awful. I was forgetting names, and even falling off my bike when riding. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. Painful peripheral

Study: Stress affects the effectiveness of vaccines

Photo courtesy of Tel Aviv University[/i] While stress improves antibody production after Covid-19 vaccination by 70%, it significantly reduces antibody diversity to protect against variants. A significant link between behavioral stress and the effectiveness of vaccines

Autumn 2023 Covid booster eligible groups
Here’s the list of eligible groups to receive a Covid booster in the UK in Autumn 2023. Healthy people are restricted to only over 65s getting the booster. But younger people eligible on health grounds (including immunosuppression) are to get it, as are household contacts of immunosuppressed people,

High level of Antibodies in sperm 96%
Hi All, please does anybody have any recommendation on what to do about the high level of antibodies in sperm - 96% of sperms have antibodies attached to them. The other parameters are all ok and there is no issue with dna fragmentation (we have done all sorts of expensive tests). It is a recurring

What to do
Hello, I have had one failed round of IVF on the NHS and feeling deflated if its worth it to carry on. I have a low AMH for my age (33) and my husband has poor morphology below 1%. We have tried for two years and done life style changes and supplements. We got 4 eggs and managed to get one blastocyst

hey there, wondering if anyone has had success with ICSI? We had 13 good quality eggs but none fertilised so think we need ICSI. Hoping there are some success stories with people like us?

31 eggs but only 1 blastocyst
I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and can offer any advice. After natural 1st baby, struggled to conceive second time. We were recommended ICSI due to partner’s low mobility count. I have high AMH (30) at age 38 and stims went (too) well with 31 eggs collected, 24 of which were mature
