Slow Covid Recovery
Hello, I am 21 days post Covid diagnosis and I am struggling to get back to normal. I am exhausted when I walk semi far distances. I have pressure in my head and my chest feels restricted. I am sure my history of afib is causing my recovery to take a bit longer. I had an ablation last March, so

Shingles vaccine! Which one??
Hi, my wife has MF and a year ago suffered from Shingles, which still causes a little itching around the back of the head where the blisters were. She has been offered a vaccination against shingles, by her GP. There are two available, one is a live vaccine the other isn't. As she doesn't have a spleen

IVF in Spain for male factor
Hi All,I've decided to go to Spain for ICSI IVF mainly because we want to try fresh surgically retrieved sperm (through sync egg retrieval and TESA/PESA) and our local clinic doesn't offer this option, only freezing sperm in advance. Dopamine to Pregabalin transition advice, please
I started taking Mirapexin in 2002. My dose increased over the years, reaching 5 x 0.088 mg tablets four years ago when augmentation set in. Three years ago, my doctor prescribed pregabalin and allowed me to manage my transition from Mirapexin. I have not yet completed that transition. Today, I take

COVID round 2
After getting COVID at the very beginning, but undiagnosed, and already having a lung condition, (aspergillus, attended Wythenshawe for years) GP said take antibiotics and steroids x 2. Never really recovered until 2 months ago my desaturation was getting so bad i was sent to the oxygen nurse. She said

lung hyperinflation,
Having severe shortness of breath month now, chest xray shows moderate lung hyperinflation. Can this be caused by anxiety?

Covid, AKI and liver damage
Has anyone else had Covid and ended up with liver damage, acute kidney injury and nearly died from kidney and liver nigh on failure. I am just wondering if Covid can worsen internal organs, cause double pneumonia and I end up in a coma for nearly 5 weeks. The main question I am trying to find out is

I have systemic sclerosis, Raynaud’s, and fibromyalgia (plus other stuff). I also have stiffness and aching on the right side of my face neck and shoulder which I think is myofascial pain syndrome. immunosuppression, Covid, and back to office policies
Is there anyone else whose reasonable accommodation request to telecommute full time due to immunosuppression during Covid was completely disregarded and treated with disdain? I am pursuing legal action and looking for others who have experienced similar discrimination

Low AMH downhearted 4th round
Hi, I have had 3 rounds of IVF in the past 20months and am now 35yrs of age. One resulted in a missed miscarriage at 7weeks and the other two I had nothing to transfer as we have also undergone genetic testing due to an issue on my side. We've been very fortunate in that these cycles were NHS funded

Immature eggs at egg collection
Second round of IVF, first round we got 8 eggs but poor fertilisation, only 2 fertilised and we transferred one day 3 which was a BFN. None to freeze. This round we changed to ICSI and we got 11 eggs but only 4 were mature. Will find out tomorrow how many fertilised with ICSI. I’ve cried so much since

COVID and prednisone
Hi everyone, There's a summer COVID surge happening here in the US. I'm just wondering if there is anything I should know about COVID and pred. If I get COVID, does that affect how much pred I should take? If I am in a flare (I am actually in a mild flare right now) and I get COVID, then what do I
