Dronedarone(Multaq) and lungfibrosis
As a teenager suffered from pulmonary sarcoidosis which healed up after 15 years leaving me with a slight restriction of my lung function. During the years up to recently (approx. 60 years) I have had had a few bouts of bronchitis every year. Always treated with antibiotics. My PAF started in 2003

PV and lung problems/findings
Hello dear group, once again I am turning to you, in the hope somebody might share if they had a similar experience. A week ago, I went to the doctors office, totally unrelated to my PV journey, to check out a persisting cough. I wasn't extremely concerned, but wanted to make sure I was on the mend

Jelly legs……..
Hi All. Had to stop Filgotinib three weeks ago as have been felled by bronchitis. Don’t normally -and luckily - suffer any chest infections or colds but this has been really vicious. Am getting over it but have legs like jelly and a head like a sponge if I attempt to do anything very much. Tried going

paracetamol
Not sure if it’s a bad cold or flu I have . I know NSAIDs are a very bad idea ( my first episode was triggered by Celebrex). Has anyone been triggered by Paracetamol ? Are there any safe pain killers ? Thanks

Cold Showers and Wim Hof
I’ve been trying Cold Showers with the Wim Hof method breathing. I seem to feel great for. 3-4 days and then worsen. I get stiffness in my lower back. I’ve read it might get worse before it gets better? I’ve read 3 weeks to reset your nervous system? Any input would be great!

Apprehensive
I have had Furosemide added to my prescription due to fluid retention in my feet and ankles, due to mild heart failure associated to persistent AF. There are loads of side effects associated with it. GP says we have to monitor kidney function closely as I am stage 3CKD. Just wondered if anyone on here

unusual cough with phlegm, maybe it’s nothing?
for the past 5 months or so I’ve had a cough that has produced a bit of phlegm (I’d say maybe the size of a pea every hour as I cough). The cough sounds dry and not like something very phlegmy. This all started because of covid that I caught at the start of December last year. The phlegm progressed from

Scared I might have lung cancer
Home About Cancer Cancer Chat Post I have a cough most of my life, but just lately I have had a horrible, relentless tickly cough, to the point I gag, and pee myself! I went to AnE in February for a cough that was really hurting my ribs.... They saw me and sent me to ambulatory care. They did test

ICU to home
Dad was admitted to a&e due to diabetes but turned out he had pneumonia and out of the blue his best chance of survival would be to transfer him to icu & put him in an induced coma. He thankfully came back to us after3 weeks he was talking & understood after a brief spell of delirium. He was then transferred

IS HE GOING TO SLIDE OUT OF THIS ONE?!
In consequence I went into collapse and
respiratory
failure
and my children were summoned because they gave me 10 mins to live. Due to my b....y mindedness and a cpap machine I survived. I began a formal complaint and have just received a 21 page report plus a 7 page letter from the consultant.

Reaching out.
Hello. This may be familiar to others, I commiserate, and appreciate any tips/insights. I am struggling with moderate/severe COPD with asthma overlap, which can be awkward to treat, as reacting to tree pollen. Using Trelegy at present, as experience reduction in horrible wet wheeze. Have rescue packs
