just a thought, could you have been bitten by something as there are dots in the middle of them? My nodules have formed on the joints and don’t disappear quickly. Keep an eye on them and show your rheumy photos next time you see them to get confirmation.

hey thank you for your reply firstly..no bites at all ..it’s definitely after I have started the Benepali..no pain no white dots no fluid..just comes and then goes usually after I sleep ..thank you

I agree with Kitty, nodules generally appear at the joints, and tend not to come and go. I have AS rather than RA, but also developed lumps on my fingers, mine were very close to joints. I am also on benepali, have been for 6yrs, but these only appeared about 18 month ago. My rheumatologist refused to look at them, bless my gp had seen them first, and said it was probably osteoarthritis. My gp organised X-rays, which showed no osteoarthritis, but calcified deposits. Rheumatologist has since decided it was enthesitis of some of the tendons, where they attached to bone. They took a while to settle but once the inflammation subsided, they disappeared. Here’s a picture of what mine was like.

I've had bumps like this that come and go when I started Benapali. Now I don't get any, after 4 years. Good luck.

I just want to agree they look like nodules and may disappear but you definitely should let your Rheumy Nurse know, just in case it is something else. I doubt it but it is worth reporting. Even sending them the photos would be good.

Never worry about these thing, get them checked and rest easy

Best wishes

talking about bumps and Benepali…..I am in the middle of discussing with rheumatology and gp whether my outbreak of what look like white moles are drug related, age related, anything related ! This following months of itchy skin.

Consultant says ‘no- would have happened sooner’ …..gp says ‘yes- I think drug related’ ……..waiting for a referral to dermatology.

Sigh…….
