I got covid April 2nd and it seemed rather mild.After testing negative I developed a bad cough.Iam a non smoker but my x-rays showed pneumonia and copd.Could this be due to prednisone,?

I would have thought that Covid was the guilty party. Steroids are sometimes used to treat Covid.

I wondering about the copd.Iam hoping it's the pneumonia causing the lungs to swell.Scary getting old.

I think Covid can be quite nasty to younger people too. Getting old can be scary though!

Much more likely to be the Covid - and pred is used to treat pneumonia to reduce the swelling.

I am feeling better.Just have a dry cough still l.But I did get pneumonia after covid.Thanks for asking.You rest now for a few days❤️
