Just a little bit of me.
Having a chronic kidney condition like Polycystic kidney disorder that has also resulted in me having stage 4c
Renal
failure
which is basically killing you from the inside isn’t something I’d wish on anyone to be quite honest, not even the person who hurt me most in my life.

Hypothyroid and cardiac function
I came across the following - it does make you wonder what endocrinologists really know about the effects of hypothyroidism. Excerpt: Cardiac abnormalities have been studied extensively in patients with primary hypothyroidism. Various types of cardiomyopathies, dilated or hypertrophic

Update on Oxycodone
Hello all my restless friends. I said I would let you know how I fared with starting oxycodone. I have now been taking 5 mg. Longtec (oxycodone) for two weeks. This tablet is slow release over 12 hours. For the first few days I played about with the time of taking and have now settled on 8.00 p.m

Zytiga and the kidneys
He ended up in the ER in acute
renal
failure
. The doctors say it was caused by severe dehydration. I’m wondering if it’s the Zytiga?? They’ve stopped it for now and his kidneys are improving ( he’s never had any kidney problems before). Seems like too much of a coincidence.....thoughts?

Interesting comment
He states that 10% of people who's been tested have stage 3
renal
failure
!! Wonder if that's anywhere close to true?

Some positive news.
Recent test results say my pulmonary hypertension is nearly nonexistent now. I have never been able to use the elliptical at Pulmonary Rehab now I’m doing 30 minutes 1 to 2 times a week on it! I still have congestive heart failure and bronchiolitis obliterans that will follow me till my dying day but

Dual organ transplant better than one?
we've heard that, since he is diabetic, he might get a kidney transplant sooner if he gets on the list for both a pancreas and a kidney transplant. Is that true? Has anyone experienced that?

I have persistent afib and am on 10mg Bisoprolol, Apixaban, Furosomede, Ranitidine and Digoxin (my GP has requested a blood test for this as I get quite nauseous) I had an angiogram done a few months ago which resulted in air bubble going in the tube an embolism I now think I know what a heart attack

Just got my first lab results back after being diagnosed with ckd. My first gfr was 62 but was told i'am stage 3. Maybe because i'am diabetic with heart disease. Just thought any thing above 60 was stage 2. Anyway doctor said he wants me to get blood work every month now. Ive been pretty strict this

Too much protein??!!
I'm 7 months post from kidney transplant, and my nurse they need to redo creatinine and GFR, and that I might have to cut back on protein. Have anyone ever heard that before? Told me if I was going to eat meat with every meal, I should cut back to 3oz, and consider the other foods with protein, like
