After feeling like crap after starting Zytiga my husband passed out twice on Sunday. He ended up in the ER in acute renal failure. The doctors say it was caused by severe dehydration. I’m wondering if it’s the Zytiga?? They’ve stopped it for now and his kidneys are improving ( he’s never had any kidney problems before). Seems like too much of a coincidence.....thoughts?

Did they investigate adrenal insufficiency? - he may not be taking enough prednisone with his Zytiga
Not that I know of.... he’s take 10 mg of predinisone a day.
Zytiga usually affects liver function, not kidneys. It sounds unrelated or something else like an infection maybe?
