Hashimotos - inflammatory arthritis - hydroxychloroquine
Hi I have Hashimotos and a multitude of other ‘little conditions’ as you’ll all know. My main pain atm is my swollen finger joints. Due partly to covid I just had useless phone consultations with a rheumatologist and his locums. All saying you have osteoarthritis take an aspirin. Then a couple of months

Severely constipated what next?
I've been slightly constipated for weeks until 8 days ago . Then I just stopped. Been in severe pain since and tried every laxative. Been to doctors and she put me on docusate sodium. Now I'm on molaxole powder and having 8 sachets in 6 hours for faecal impaction. Still nothing at all. I'm in pain now

Can Endo be Mild with bladder and bowel involvement?
My biggest issues other than pelvic

are
rectal
pain
and huge issues with my bladder. Because I'm due for a med review with gynae, I will be able to ask questions just before Christmas but I'd love some guidance in the meantime. Can it be considered mild but on bowel and bladder?

”CONFUSED” UPDATE
Well, I increased my Pred to 9 mg for 5 days but didn’t go straight back to my previous dose (4.5mg) but went to 6mg. So far the flu-type symptoms have gone but I still have a low-grade headache, plus pain in both shoulders and in the neck. I have tried taking paracetamol but this only has minimal

Hi, I got diagnosed endo last summer and since then I am taking the mini pill, one per day, for anout 5months. I have irregular bleeding, but no regular periods, sporadic pain which I am dealing with pain killer. The frequency of severe pain seems less, but still quite often I have pain in the morning

Decided to opt out of at home hospice after six weeks
I feel good. I do not even feel sick. I still am on strong pain meds, but I no longer need the walker (the enhertu infusion from hell). The nurse comes twice a week at first and I said No, not necessary. So they cut it down to once a week. It is ridiculous. The nurse writes to her boss (the doctor

Rapid onset of burning in joints at rest and worse when moving
My conditions are in my bio (plus a new one… granulamatosis angiitis of the brain and cns). I’ve had pain in some of my joint (hands and feet) that are easily attributed to swelling and nerve damage. Pain in right hip and leg
I have been getting pain & tingling in my right hip and leg since June 2022. I though it was sciatica at first but when I went to my GP she sent me for an MRI which showed Spinal Stenosis. No amount of pain killers help & still waiting for physio. GPS has suggested Amiltripline, has anyone used

Cool, newly discovered AI search engine for supplements - SUPP.ai
While updating my files on curcumin formulations (Thanks to MB's recent post on Thracurmin for cognitive function), this website popped up in my search results. It was developed by the Allen Institute for AI (founded by Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen) and is designed to search for supplement interactions

Lesions on the Bowel
Hi there, I have recently undergone laparoscopic excision of endometriosis and adhesiolysis at the end of January. So over a week post op. My surgeon found deep and well established lesions from my Sigmoid, lower part of my bowel to the wall of my left ovary. All of my peritoneum was excised completely

Long term IBS sufferer being referred to rapid dignostic clinic
Hi, I have had IBS(C) for over 30 years following surgery for Appendicitis aged 10 (which nobody believed me about and I had it for 1.5 years with everyone saying I was a time waster/attention seeker, until I nearly died). I get horrific pain, bloating, all the usual stuff, but also I can become so

Struggling to get comfortable when sleeping
Hello all, my wife is exhausted and 1) She's scared to sleep in case she doesn't wake up and 2) The pain in her neck and shoulders from lying down.
