Mirena coil

lifegivesyoulemonade profile image

Hi,

I got diagnosed endo last summer and since then I am taking the mini pill, one per day, for anout 5months. I have irregular bleeding, but no regular periods, sporadic pain which I am dealing with pain killer.

The frequency of severe pain seems less, but still quite often I have pain in the morning and at night.

My consultant suggested I can consider Mirena coil, as I am not planning to be pregnant.

Anyone had experiences of it? or any advice about that? Thanks.

Mirena has been my saviour for the past three years. I really wish someone had mentioned it sooner to me. It's not perfect and everyone is different but I've found it to be the best solution for me. I hope you find some relief soon!
