Post laproscopy - pain and confusion about what next…

When I came round from surgery I was told I wouldn’t be having a follow up appointment as the surgeon had got it all with the laser and that combined

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force strikes again - Aspirin
The USPSTF never did recommend aspirin for PCa, of course, but they did for the prevention of colorectal cancer, in 2016. They are reversing that. Men with PCa have a greater risk for heart disease. Mark Moyad coined the expression “Heart healthy is prostate healthy.”, although he may not have been

Painful mouth from steroidal preventer. Need help please!
My gp has historically had me on clenil and symbicort at different times. Both of these caused persistent and painful thrush even though I use a spacer and I immediately rinse out my mouth. A month ago I was placed on fostair to see if it would have less side effects. It's been worse. I have no thrush

Late night thoughts
I’m lying in bed and I was just thinking no one actually understands what we go through. And no woman should ever have to go through what we do. The physical side of endo is plain horrible but recently I feel like the mental/emotional side is actually harder to control. The pain you can lie in bed, taken

Sticks ‘n Stones trail race report
Sorry, it’s a bit of a long post coming here, just to warn you…This race was 2 years in the making. I trained for it last year only to have it deferred for Covid in the last weeks before the date. I actually ran the course last year solo just to get a feel for it, albeit slowly and with WAY too many

Infertility and Endo
Hi all, I have lurked here for some time and worked up to posting. I'm a bit lost with it all. For years I have known something was wrong but having been on the pill for over a decade thought maybe I had indeed 'grown out of it'. However, first cycle post pill and every symptom came back with a vengeance

Since my first application I have had CBT, physio for osteoarthritis, tried most pain killers available to me (I have stage 4 kidney disease so are unable to use many of the drugs

Alternatives to pills
Has anyone any suggestions to smooth pain of polyarthritis without so many pain killers? I use heat bags and I've tried a Tens machine but that didn't help much. Exercise is agony!
