Questions on Radiation Therapy
Hello! Glad to have found this forum – seems like a lot of very helpful people here. Been doing a lot of reading. I appreciate those that have taken the time to write informative replies, articles, and blogs. After an mpMRI found a 7mm lesion near the base, I was recently diagnosed with prostate

I then had to have a course of
radiotherapy
and was told I had to come off of Methotrexate as the treatment could have an adverse effect on my skin if I continued with the RA drug.

What light have you found in your darkness
26 treatments of

Recovering after infection
She coped so well with chemo and
radiotherapy
and the cancer had responded well, it's hard to accept that after all of that she won't recover from an infection.

Radiotherapy on Prostate. Recommendations?
He has been offered
radiotherapy
on his prostate and we're currently trying to weigh up the pros and cons. From what I see, the side effects aren't too bad that he should turn this down but thought I would ask you fellas just to see if you think it's a good idea?

1 YEAR AFTER RADIOTHERAPY
As I control blood every 3 months, so I took it on January 8, 2021. PSA <0.014, testosterone 13.9 nmol / L. Am I cured now, how often should I control PSA, what are my chances of getting cancer back? I have 100 questions that may be difficult to answer. Do you have any advice? best regards

Consultant Meeting with Mum
At the end it was agreed that mum is going to have 5 sessions of
radiotherapy
on the main tumour to help shrink it and help with the breathlessness and hoarse voice. He then talked about a chemo drug called Docetaxel.
