Chronic Radiation Enteritis Sufferer
I had
radiotherapy
in 1996 for cervical cancer. For many years I have suffered bouts of bloating, nausea, cramps, diarrhoea and constipation. I put it down to ibs and so did doctors until last year it had got worse and I’d started to lose weight , my symptoms more frequent.

Running during radiotherapy? Is it possible?
Anybody have any experience of running during
radiotherapy
? I am starting
radiotherapy
in about 10 days, and was wondering if anybody has managed to keep running during treatment, or were just too knackered?

PET scan / Cancer has returned
Just been for PET scan get results next Wednesday when I see my oncologist he did mention after the CT scan results that
Radiotherapy
was the option this time. Last time I had cancer I felt optimistic not sure how I'm feeling this time. Has the cancer come back!! and where is it this time.

HIPEC
It is in an awkward position and 6 months of standard chemo has had little effect and they’ve had to lower the dose of
radiotherapy
for fear of burning a hole in his bowel.

Keytruda and Guillain Barre Syndrome
After various false starts, it has been confirmed that the Immunotherapy treatment with Keytruda has been the cause of my GBS event in January. I'm off immunotherapy forever now. Just learned today that my lung tumor has grown and is getting close to my airway. Looking at possible radiation treatment

When to start salvage radiation therapy
When to start salvage radiation therapy Just a quick question. I have found different psa values recommended to start salvage radiation therapy.Apparently to my understanding the earlier the better. I found different numbers ranging from 0,03 to 0.2 with a huge difference in relapse free survival

Stage 3 Lung Cancer
She confirmed to my dad that he will be receiving chemo and
radiotherapy
together for 1 month with a view of curing the cancer. She seemed fairly confident and didn’t give my dad a prognosis which put us at ease. We’re hoping this works and fingers crossed it cures him.

Safety and Efficacy of Virtual Prostatectomy With Single-Dose Radiotherapy in Patients With Intermediate-Risk Prostate Cancer
FYI: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaoncology/fullarticle/2777068 Not sure I like the use of the term "virtual" prostatectomy. Several years ago something called a "brush biopsy" was promoted to dentists. IMO it was NOT a biopsy (though apparently the company was very aggressive in going after

NCCN guidelines for unfavorable intermediate risk
I thought I did my homework, but now I realize according to the NCCN guidelines, I could've chosen a different path. I have Gleason 7 (4+3) unfavorable intermediate risk PCa and I chose the HDR Brachytherapy (monotherapy) path. It looks like EBRT & HDR Brachytherapy is the SOC for unfavorable intermediate

PMR and cancer treatment
I have now been diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer and have been advised to have
radiotherapy
treatment. Does anyone have any experience of what effect PMR has combined with cancer treatment? I hope the question makes sense.
