I suggested it may have been some sort of blood clot due to
radiotherapy
damage as my bladder also sometimes bleeds, however he did not agree, but why else would it have disappeared. He plans to do a sigmoidoscopy just to check. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

Treating recurrence with Doxil: Side Effects?
I am three years from the end of carboplatin and Taxol chemotherapy for my Stage 3 ovarian cancer. Prior to chemo I had a complete hysterectomy, omentectomy, appendectomy, and transverse colon resection. I now have a recurrence, with a tumor near the sigmoid colon and rectum. There is no surgery or radiation

An outcome I was told wasn't possible ..
When I completed my
Radiotherapy
I asked my NHS oncologist if I could have a scan to assess the results, he refused explaining that I would only be eligible for a scan "When" my condition deteriorated.

Rising PSA after prosectomy
Hey guys want your thoughts. I had a prosectomy in March of 2020, which is approximately 18 months ago. All went well with minimal side affects. However, now my psa has been rising slowly, which in most instances indicates not all of the cancer was removed during the prosectomy. My PSA .2.

Sad upsetting post (new member)
We were told we had to wait to hear what his consultant wanted to do, biopsy or operation or
radiotherapy
. So we waited a week and dad had awful care with his diabetic insulin jabs, he was still able to walk with help and could eat solid food.

Ambiguous sclerotic spine lesion post radiation/ Taking HDT.
Has anyone after proton beam radiation treatment and on hormone deprivation therapy gotten ambiguous sclerotic lesion(s)on the spine? If so, what recommendations did the Dr's give you. My friend has a new sclerotic lesion on the T2 and the diagnosis was left uncertain. Follow up in 3 months with another

Help with wind, please
I (like most of us on here) have a lot of scar tissue/adhesions caused by
radiotherapy
and operations. I get a lot of trapped wind because my gut can’t expand or retract like it use to, hence the wind gurgling and rumbling around like a moody and grumpy volcano.

Exceptions to "early salvage" radiation treatment for recurrence after prostatectomy
Sometimes, it is unsafe to wait for a biochemical recurrence; sometimes, it is safe to put it off. https://www.prostatecancer.news/2021/10/exceptions-to-early-salvage-radiation.html

Some questions answered, some answers questioned, and Chemotherapy scheduled.
Medical Oncologist-- "you have been on therapy-
radiotherapy
then dexamethasone which is a hormonal therapy and clinically you have done well. No protocol would allow you to enter since you had no signs of progression. That is great!

So it's finally happening. Tues and Wed 10/19 & 10/20 After endless delays, Jim finally gets his radiation treatment. Such a relief that it will be Dr Peter Carroll doing the surgical portion. Anxiety is high, but that helps a lot. Also Jim's latest PSA went to ultrasensitive test and is 0.04 Thanks

PSA after salvage radiation
Hi My husband has prostate cancer. I think we are in a good, wait and see place, but wanted to get your opinions. My husband had a RP in November of 2018. He never went to undetectable. So in the spring of 2019 he had ADT and salvage radiation treatment. For the last almost two years he was undetectable
