Hello, I start 6 weeks of radiotherapy at end of this month.
My journey to hospital is around 85 mins and I would like to know of anyone in similar situation found it was OK to drive myself to/from hospital daily. Also I work for myself from home (admin'y type from home). How did you find mental ability to work. Any other tips and advice gratefully received ☺️

Sad update: Our moderator "Danish-patient" has passed... :-(
My very good friend "Danish-patient" passed away after +15 years of battle. He was an outstanding person with a high level of knowledge regarding PCa and he generously helped many member patients in the danish facebook group "The Young Prostate Guys" (for PCa patients diagnosed under 60 years). In 2020 I didnt get Covid but I was diagnosed with another cancer and after 3 months of chemotherapy and
radiotherapy
, all my scans were clear. A really big help was still exercising during treatment and my aim to reach 100 parkruns.

Active surveillance or not for localisedprostate cancer
Glesson 3+4, dre normal, psa 4.2, no symptoms, grade T2 Value now time quality of life and could go for the surveillance, treatment would be
radiotherapy
and possible hormone therapy with side effects not to be laughed at. Anyone else on active surveillance?

PSA rising, I'm horny (!) and hairless. What to think?
Hi There! Yes, the psa went from .6 [6 months from radiation treatment] to 1.6 [9 months from radiation treatment, which is the same as it was in 2011. What to think? Oncologist says its "good". Secondly, I'm a little bit horny...which comes as a great surprise that there is any feeling down there

ALP/PSA and Ztandi
He is going to have
radiotherapy
on a problem painful metnear his spine in 2 weeks. We both hoped that the psa would drop by more than 23% in a month. With such a small drop in the psa and an increase in the alp does it mean that the Ztandi is not working?
