Even though parkruns are still suspended in France 😡 a group of us meet every Sat. at 09:00 for a (non)parkrun on the same course come rain, sun or snow ! I started running at 65 and very grateful for these HU forums and the great advice and support from Tim.
A hundred parkruns later, I'm still running at the age of 70 and never leave the C25K as I use it when I'm recovering from an injury. I certainly have an affinity with Tim as that's my name as well and I was diagnosed with PCa in 2016 but I was lucky and I am still continuing with active surveillance.
In 2020 I didnt get Covid but I was diagnosed with another cancer and after 3 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, all my scans were clear. A really big help was still exercising during treatment and my aim to reach 100 parkruns. Follow Tim's advice and keep on running and keep on smiling - it really does help
