Those on Armour thyroid. What’s your dose?
I was on 60 (1 grain) for a number of months but have had lingering hypo symptoms and can’t lose a pound despite going gluten and dairy free. I just moved up to 2 grains and so far, no change. Thoughts? My iodine is low, ferritin is low in range, vitamin d is low in range. T3 and free t3 were low in

Looking for further reading/research on low TSH
Hello again, Firstly, thanks for all the info so far! I have previously posted my results and thyroid background in another thread. I take thyroxine following RAI I was wondering if anyone knew of further reading/information/research on low but not suppressed TSH (I'm at 0.08), specifically in pregnancy

High ferritin level and skin problems
After my RAI treatment in January by March I started to become hypo. My scalp looked like a salt lake, white and crusty and very itchy. I mentioned it to my endo but as soon as I used the word lumpy he cut me off, nothing new there. Since then I’ve developed itchy, crusty spots and rashes . Having paid

Worried I wont be taken seriously
I'm sorry this is so long - I'm really struggling with all this. I have always had pain with my periods, I first went to the GP about it when I was 16 - less that a year after they first started, because my mum told me that the amount of pain I was in wasn't normal. I went on the mini-pill for a bit

What are your thoughts on thyroid regeneration?
One, you have a birth defect that causes hypothyroidism, Two, you have had
radioactive
iodine
treatment.

I went through

ablation in March and are now cancer free. I have been gaining a lot of important information already by reading on this forum, especially from the discussions on old posts of skylark15 and Barnclown. So thank you very much.

Hi all. I'm feeling ill and need to help myself fast. I'm a long, boring complex case though. That's the only catch. Diagnosed by the lovely Dr P a good few years ago. Was severely hypo. Bedridden most of the day. Started NatureThroid under his guidance, upped nutrients, slowly recovered, and dozens

Surgery or Radioactive Iodine Treatment?
Back on the carbimazole and now faced with the dreaded decison to make whether I go for the
radioactive
iodine
treatment or do I go for surgery. Really struggling to make a decison. I feel like I haven't been given enough info from my consultant.

Endo Scratch tomorrow, what’s it like?
Hi all, I had my follow up consultation yesterday after a failed double transfer a few weeks ago. They think it’s chromosome issues as I’m 42 with 4 natural miscarriages. But have had two failed fresh transfers (3 embryos) over 2 icsi cycles now so they suggested a endometrial scratch before the next
