I have previously posted my results and thyroid background in another thread. I take thyroxine following RAI
I was wondering if anyone knew of further reading/information/research on low but not suppressed TSH (I'm at 0.08), specifically in pregnancy and the safety of this. Or some good websites I might get more info.
Thanks again.

If you are medicating thyroid hormone replacement you will need a low TSH whilst pregnant. This not ensures you are medicating adequate thyroid hormone but helps regulate other hormones that fluctuate during pregnancy.
During the first trimester not only will your baby depend on your supply of thyroid hormone (as does not have his own supply until later) but your oestrogen levels will raise, encouraging TBG (thyroid binding globulin) to correspondingly raise and this binds to thyroid hormones, disabling a proportion.
A good read is "Your Healthy Pregnancy With Thyroid Disease" by Dana Trentini and Mary Shomon.
